37:59 The Most Holy Rosary is the furthest thing from vain repetition. And one thing that irks me to no end is how the Holy Rosary is portrayed, and how people are taught to pray the rosary. We have these rosary books with a picture for each mystery and a brief description. While those are great for beginners- just like an English Latin Missal is great for those just beginning to attend the Traditional Mass- they can quickly become a crutch, leading us to think that the rosary is boring. For the 1st Joyful Mystery, any mediation on all the events leading up to the annunciation, from the Fall of Adam to Moses before the Burning Bush to King David committing adultery, in the context of the Messiah, is appropriate. And the 5th Joyful mystery encompasses the entire teaching ministry of Our Lord, including the Wedding of Cana and the Institution of the Mass following the Last Supper. The Rosary contains Our Lady's Seven Sorrows, Our Lady of Fatima and all her apparitions, and so much more. The Rosary is like an infinite ocean and we are on the shore. We should reach the point where we can say 10 whole rosaries a day, and feel like we have not done enough. (Of course, I understand that many people have their daily duties, and this is impractical. But even in the course of doing our duties we should never be so absorbed in the world that we forget our relationship with the Sacred and Immaculate hearts.) Our lady has given us the Most Holy Rosary for when we loose the Mass and Sacraments, so that we can console Our Lady and Our Lord very much and obtain the salvation of many souls.
The Catholic. Hurch can not teach error in regards to the Faith. Error, lies have been taught in words and actions for sixty years then “canonizes” the individuals at the top. Take Teresa of Calcutta:writing she wanted to help a Hindu be a better Hindu? Giving devotion to ghandi? She is not Catholic in regards to catholic principles taught by Catholic popes up to Pius Xii and theologians like Aquinas
29:00 James Lindsay pits gnostcism (creation is evil) vs. hermeticism (Hegelian utopianism). Is there any use in differentiating world philosophy into utopian (freemasonic) and hermetic (nihilist/Budhist) dichotomies?
Can’t pin the name right now, but there’s a medieval Franciscan who wrote that in the 7 stages of classical medicinal alchemy he saw the Passion and Ressurection played out in the “pelican” distillation vessel.
With all due respect we can pray the rosary whenever we like in, community, or alone, it is a free to access, garden of Roses. There are just the right amount of canonical shoulds and oughts, it is not for us to add imperatives, that could cause other scrupulosity or inappropriate shame. The stunning beauty and elegance of Catholicism is its vasty dimensions. We have the sublime superstructure of the crucial Sacraments and also infinite opportunities to purposefully remember God! Pax
@@dr.deepstate5867 I understand that tradition calls us to pray 3 Holy Rosaries per day (the 15 mysteries). Merry Christmas to you and your family, Dr. Haugen 🙏🏻, ¡Viva Cristo Rey!
My genuine question to the Catholics is... How do you justify so much focus on Mary when Jesus himself in the Bible said not to adorn her and the Bible says not to pray to her.. Jesus outright said not to.. the Bible also said do not call any man father but God in heaven it also says not to pray to the dead.. saints are just dead people, they are not divine. These are the roadblocks I can't get past. I agree with most of Catholicism but the things I don't agree with are extremely clear in the Bible and it looks like an outright act of intentional defiance because of how direct the Bible states these things and how direct Catholics do them anyways.. It doesn't make any sense
Same I don't understand why a man can be divine , Jesus use the word father. He is not tge father. Sane his mother is not divine. Only God. I font get this unification and pushing to be at God level
We believe in the Communion of Saints -- we are free to communicate inwardly with the Saints and to Jesus' mother. It is not Jesus who puts a difference between Himself, his mother or his saints or us for that matter. It is the nature of love to share everything of value with the beloved. Jesus shares his divinity with us. We do not pray to the dead. The Reformers removed the book of Maccabees from canonical scripture precisely because the leader of the Maccabees prayed to God for the Israelites who had died a battle. The problem with Protestants is that they are bibliolaters lke the Muslims. Interpretation is a gift of the Holy Spirit. The reformers broke the bonds of love and so their interpretation is bound to be slewed.

I’m glad to find someone saying it. Politics is lost. All we can do is help others to see it and work out our salvation.

I do get a great sense of connection when praying "The Hail Mary". Many thanks people and a Blessed wonderful Christmas to you all.

Two Rosaries a month? You should pray the Rosary everyday.
I think it was a mistake
