Selling Scrap Metal for the First Time

I picked up a lot of metal at my last junk removal job. Instead of taking it to the land fill, I take it to the scrap yard to make a little extra money. This is my first time selling scrap and I will be doing it more in the future.

The only way it’s worth doing is having a dump box on the back of your pulling truck to throw it in at each job. I’ve never taken enough off of one job for it to be worth while. The next truck I buy will be a 10-15 yard dump bed truck to pull my trailers with for that reason.

That’s a good idea. They have those slide in dump beds. Those might be an option too.
