      The instructions are confusing. It sounds like it's suggesting that the metal ring in the center of the wheel would go inside against the arbor. The opposite of shown here. But you would think the logo side of the wheel would face outward

    Can you tell me the size of the open end wrench for holding the spindle during wheel changes? I have the pin spanned, but I lost the open end and the wheel is on too tight to get off without it. If I knew the distance across the flats, I could buy a new wrench. Thank you!

    Looking to get one of these for building 3d printers, would need to cut lead screws and aluminum profile(20x20mm mostly)
    Think it would be worth it?

      I would work, you would to clean up the cuts after cutting, you tool will melt what it is cutting - I have a video on cleaning up conduit after its cut - th-cam.com/video/QWOA4VPcnqM/w-d-xo.html - I would wrap the area around the cut to help reduce any possible scratches, it will make cleanup easier, the best option is a metal cutting bandsaw, but really not worth the several hundred dollars it would cost - this saw would cut 2020 in a few seconds, same with a lead screw - btw, I've been buying ender3 clones for ~$100 on aliexpress, pulling out the electronics and hotend, replacing those, that way you start with a built 2040 frame and servos/belts - thanks for subscribing

      I remove the guard completely both of the two piece. I’m going to make something else. With that guard there I couldn’t see my pieces very well. Everything seems pretty solid. so far on it.
      I plan to build a little like a small table for it, that I could put a stop on it, that I could run my pieces into and get perfect cuts every time

    Can it be used to cut laminate flooring?

    • @snapwholeharborfreightreviews
      @snapwholeharborfreightreviews  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it could be used, but I would be concerned about burning the edges showing on the edges on the finished floor - this saw cuts with an abrasive disk, not with a wood cutting blade, if you want to go that route, I would recommend some testing before committing to use it for an entire floor - thanks for subscribing!

Those are cold/dry cut blades, could they be used on this Drill Master 6" given that the RPM is within range? Abrasive cuts leave burrs and heat up the metal piece, cold/dry cut don't and cut faster. The saw comes with a second flat wrench. That goes behind the blade in the gap between the blade and the motor. That allows us to lock the shaft.
    I had one heck of a frustrating time until i got out a headlamp and went over that saw top to bottom and figured tbis out.
