Bagong Kampeon was the biggest amateur singing contest in the Philippines, and The Asia Pacific Singing Contest was the most prestigious professional international singing contest in the Asia Pacific region as well, and Regine got them both. Hence, she got her title Asia’s Songbird. That title was not just given to her freely. SHE EARNED IT.
