If I recall correctly, inimbita ni Regine lahat ng living OPM songwriters ng mga kantang kinanta niya dito sa concert as this is a six night concert which is a tribute to OPM.
Nothing like Regine singing George Canseco (or any Filipino composer's) songs. Her voice has that built in longing, that pathos that when she sings, we all think that these songs were written especially for her. I just love her to bits. Thanks for posting this video.

OMG I just found out na the excerpt of this medley was taken Lea Salonga's live album (Songs from the Screen - arg'd of course by Gerard S). Yung kay Lea, magical Disney versions. Pero 'tong kay Ate Reg is the ultimate OPM singer version complete with emote and feelings.
I am a huge fan of both but imho Lea’s rendition of the medley had more heart, mas puno ng emosyon, mas dama. Maybe because it was sang live with the orchestra. Mas lumitaw ang pagiging classical OPM ng mga awiting ito nung inawit ni Miss Lea.
Everytime I see videos from Ang Ating Musika Concert, I am always wishing and hoping that if only I could turn back time, I would watch this.. I was then just an student then and financially unable to buy concert ticket... and I did not learn about this. If only I was informed, I should've saved and prepared for this... 😭😭😭😭 Anyway, thank you for the people uploading videos of Songbird, most specially her concerts. Now that I am working and there are friends blessing me who happen to be Reginians as well, I see to it that I watch her concerts. My first was Silver Rewind and so on.. the recent was R30. 😊 Looking forward for more of her concerts, soon! ❤️
