- Tomáš Rosický played for Borussia Dortmund from 2001 - 2006 and became German Bundesliga champion with the team in 2002.

While Modrić playing for real and surrounded by the top players in the universe at his time
Rosický got competition by the best playmaker/midfielder of all times like Zidane ,Xavi , nedved , Pirlo , Totti , Ronaldinho, kaka ,Guti , Ballack and I can go on and on while Modrić hardly competed with anyone on that level on his position

Not to mention his constant injuries slowed him down

Thomas ist einfach auch eine Dortmunder Legende, er war mein Vorbild was fussball betrifft und Jahre lang mein Favoriten Spieler beim BvB:) nach ihm nie wieder jemand anders aufn Trikot getragen,er ist mein Held von damals und ausserdem ist er genau 10 Jahre älter wie ich 😁 ,größte Erinnerung war das 2:4 in Hamburg wo er jubelnd aufs leere Hamburger Tor gelaufen ist und ich völlige ausflippte das er das Tor macht:)

When I saw him for the first time I was sure he was gonna win the Ballon d´Or one day. Unfortunately, everything was going ok until his first major injury in 2008. He was not allowed to fully show his potential because of injuries. Despite that, he managed to score 23 goals in 105 games for the national team. He is the 3rd most capped player for Czechia and the 4th best goalscorer for Czechia (as an independent national team after the 1993 split of Czechoslovakia).

Guter Spieler aber einer der überschätzten Spieler beim BVB und dafür auch noch arrogant. Er hat in den Jahren gespielt als es keine richtige Konkurrenz auf seiner Position gab. Bei uns gab es in den letzten Jahren Kagawa, Reus, Götze usw
So much respect for Dortmund (one of few massive clubs that is family & respect orientated). Including the crests of his multiple clubs is a nice touch. I was so excited when Arsenal signed him & then he scored 2 outrageous goals in the Euros.. but injuries ruined him (however his class was always evident on & off the pitch & even fresh from injury at 34 Y/O he played oustanding & like a 17 year old). Arsene Wenger once said 'If you love football.. then you love Tomas Rosicky'.

Rosicky ist eine Klasse Typ. Ich habe die Spiele geliebt, als er beim BVB war. Und vermisse es total ihn spielen zu sehen, besonders in schwarzgelb. Alles Gute für deine Zukunft, Schnitzel ;)

jo die zeit vergeht schnell. einmal nicht aufgepasst, zack ist man dieses jahr schon 22 geworden und alles ist anders als damals. inklusive fußball.
An alle die kein tschechisch können stellt Untertitel ein der is zwar auf englisch aber besser als tschechisch

he actually wasn't that accepted during his last 1 or 2 seasons with Dortmund, actually Jan Koller was more of a fan favourite than he was
maybe due to the fact that he wanted to leave so badly, but it's not his fault, Dortmunt couldn't provide him the stage he needed
