Console players have been pushed back til 2024 😢 I wasn't going to buy it until the mods and dlcs kicked in.. but since they pushed us Console players back. It'll probably be late 2025 before I buy this😅😖
CS1 required way too many mods. They were constantly getting broken and required updating. How many times the game crashed on me because of a broken mod and I had to hunt down which one it was. I look forward to playing a game that requires a lot fewer mods.
its the same with this game sadly. In fact, its even worse, as it has way worse performance to begin with. Not just the graphical part, but its really slow and stuttery at a bit higher population. Way worse than cs1 with 120 mods and 10000 assets.@@ilgatto7327
Great video! Watching large infrastructure projects (like airports) being built is some of my fav content to watch. Hopefully with upcoming DLC we can get some more customizable airport tools (or new airport designs).
This could be great for train station too, because they look very commun, it doesn't fit to high speed trains. We need more modern and architectural stations. I live in a city which is not a Megapole at all, medium city and both two train stations have nothing to do with those.
One thing I noticed was your problem with putting down the suspension bridge, the solution is to just widen the distance between roads on the bridge so that the pylons don't clash with each other.. You probable knew this already but was just too busy to realise it at the time. Thanks for the video.
The highrise offices made me think, this game should have height restrictions that you can choose, since the game knows what buildings can fit under an elevated highway, surely you could have different levels of height restrictions based on building height instead of level like in CS1
I’ve heard so many things about this where people are like this doesn’t work yet that doesn’t work yet it almost feels like people spend all this money for the newest games but they aren’t complete or even near complete when they get it
You are definitely right there is a huge change in the way games a released. It's definitely not an exclusive cities 2 issue. I could speak about this forever but if you're interested check my review tomorrow:)
I like couple c:s2 content creators but it just hits different when Rudi uploads. I've watched your Planet Zoo content and now I'm all for the Cities Skylines 2 content 🥳 I've been waiting for this game for sooooo long and can't wait. I'm aware of the issues but we are here for the long run 😊
@@RudiRennkamel Yeah, and in fact, about the new terraforming system, I'm just waiting for the day that people begin to use it to create gigantic tsunamis like in CS:1, and since the height limit in CS:2 has increased enormously, the tsunami's in this game will almost certainly be MUCH bigger and taller in in CS:1, perhaps up to 2 MILES high for all we know. 😀 However big they'll be, one thing's fr sure, they're going to be lots of fun to see, mark my words. 😉
You should check out San Antonio International Airport, it’s smack dab in the center of the city, and surrounded by residential, office, parks, and industry.😅 Also are the airports in the game stale like the airports in CS1 prior to the DLC?
it blows my mind what people are being able to achieve in this game and IT DOESNT EVEN HAVE MODS YET. So excited

It's already quite good in that sense yes

@@ilgatto7327 I can totally relate

Like the airport but definitely waiting for them to create a airport DLC or at least mod modular airport assets

Yeah that would be amazing!

I think they should add a national guard base or a Air Force/Army base.

@@RudiRennkamel I always check out your vids, I’ve enjoyed watching this and the zoo ones you do
ty for this design :) i was having trouble routing this big airport along with parking, you gave me some ideas thnx 😁👍
Looks good! Although if I were picky, the radio antenna shouldn't be that near to the cargo area.. creates a lot of disturbances

Yaaay
The airport looks weird with such short runways lol, they're very short and stubby, not even close to scale.
That's why I tried making them longer but it didn't really work nice enough
Yep, that sure is a functioning airport
Lol
Nice build you built the airport very well i like the new terraforming system and the new network system
Oh yeah it is super nice!
i cant wait till i get my hands on the game@@RudiRennkamel

You don't have airport roads etc. That's definitely missing. But the overall design is amazing
Salut Rudi. Thank you for this episode. That's impressive!👍👍👍
Thank you!:))
There are airport without DLC arleady?

疑問なんですけど、貨物空港ってあります?
You can add cargo lines to any airport via the line tool
そうか、ありがとうございます😊
I wish my PC could run this game
If it could your heating costs would go down
