After counting the grass, I began to harvest everything I needed to prepare a salad… A grass salad? … No, we are doing badly, but it is not that bad yet… I am going to show you how I prepare a purslane salad or portulaca as some call it, here in Argentina it is not customary to use it but in many Central American countries this plant can be bought at the greengrocer, it belongs to the succulent family, but these plants are ornamental, this purslane is a wild plant, it grows in almost all gardens, in pots and anywhere there is a little soil, be careful with your ears because if you are careless a purslane will grow on you, according to scientific studies Purslane is a wild plant with many medicinal and nutritional properties.
