Hello there, let's take a look here. Moisture wicking: this material is usually synthetic with a high % of polyester. If the fabric has more than 60% polyester we have a poly specific pretreat. Another option with this machine would be to use the direct to film printing function for easy compatibility, no pretreat. Pretreat is still necessary with DTG. This machine should be fine to leave unattended 7 to 10 days, no problem. Your print schedule sounds perfect for a machine like this as the Epson needs FAR LESS attention when compared to other machines.
I am so disappointed that Epson does not have the necessary parts available. I've been struggling with back order parts and Maintenance liquid. It is so absolutely disappointing to have this issue. I have bought from many different vendors and they all run into this issue of not having stock. I wish I would've saved my money and purchased something with more accessible parts and maintenance items. I am so nervous that I won;t get the parts I need before I need to start my big order. Those situations hurt small businesses like mine.

Hi Esteban, Just got my printer from you guys. I noticed that when I installed the white ink, the screen showed it as half empty already when they're supposed to be brand new. I noticed that in your video as well. The colored bars are completely full though. Is there a reason why the white ink bars are half empty?
Hello, upon the initial charge the printer will consume a certain % of ink, I have noticed this since back in the old F2000 days. Great thing is the 2270 comes with full inks where the older models shipped with starter ink carts and we would advise to purchase 2 additional full size whites with the previous gen. What you are experiencing is normal for initial set up.
Hello, thanks for stopping by! What is your platen height level set to? For t-shirts we get good quality sharpness at around 1.5 (depending on the blank garment). Other factors to consider would be artwork resolution and pretreat method.

@@adan_cuts210 no worries, this is how we learn! If you thread the garment on the platen (so that is 'wearing' the shirt like an ironing board) you can probably go even higher! The farther the printhead is away from the garment the wider the ink spray gets = less sharpness. Most t-shirts I have printed have allowed for level 1 or 1.5 without bothering the sensor. Basically you want to be as high as possible without bother the sensor for optimum clarity. The print head carriage itself has automation for adjusting internally. We have to make sure we prepress before applying pretreat otherwise the fibers could stand up and result in what you described. What quality setting are you running in the software?
Ive been trying to find ways to avoid the yellowing and heat press marks on my garments. Do you guys have any recommendations that may affect the process?
@@robertnewbury4956 what is the garment made of fabric % wise? What color? Typically if I see what you are describing I either decrease pressure or use pressing pillows for the marks. As far as the discoloration, less heat and more time can be effective. Are you printing DTG or DTF?
It looks a great machine and I would buy one in a heartbeat but the ink cost is just to high, Should be the same cost as 3070 ink Or its just impossible to compete with dtf prints from a dedicated dtf machine.
Hey there! The ink savings on the F3070 are a part of the larger: machine/ink bag/price tag. That being said this machine is fully capable to produce full color, high resolution low cost DTF prints as well as top tier DTG
Great question: it varies. Honestly what I do, takes a few seconds, start on your normal T-shirt height and try to print. You might trip the sensor, drop a half turn and try again. And repeat until the sensor is not bothered. You want to find the highest setting that does not bother the sensor and every garment is different. Hope this helps!

yeah it connected thank you , also on the garment creator where it says print its not like blue to click , I was wondering how to fix this as the printer says ready but I can't print on the actual garment creator, everything was working fine yesterday
@@azankhan6522 interesting. Epson would have you turn off the printer and the computer to reset the connection so let's try that. We can also uninstall and re-install the actual garment creator software. Let me know if that works!
Hello, when the successor to the 2100 released (F2270) Epson cut the price on the remaining stock of the old units to clear way for the new model. Folks acted fast when they slashed the price.

The 7k sale you are referring too was similar to what you see on other discontinued technology. Think of when the new iPhone comes out - typically sold at the same price of the previous model when it was new. Customers would not pay the same price for the older model when updated tech is available at the same price so the old iPhones are marked down and sold at a discount until stock runs out on the pieces no longer being produced to clear stock.

Just unboxed my new 2270 today. Haven’t played too much with it but the 2 shirts I did came out super grainy and not clear at all. 😢

There is a feature in GC called Color Replacement upper right corner next to Layout Settings that can perform this!
