A smaller water feature, properly fitted into its space, is just as artistic and maybe even more so than a large feature. Thank you for vlogging your creations so we can enjoy them too!
Wow! I just got done watching The Pond Professor’s massive intake bay project. What a contrast! And yet, the same basic principles and much of the same equipment. Aquascape macro and micro.
I'm building a koi pond on my property here in Texas. Its 145 feet long. I've been watching your videos on how to place rocks and just overall build. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. It's greatly appreciated.
Nice feature in a small space! You shared the “secret source of moss” though. Now there’s not going to be anyone building moss-less waterfalls. Moss beware!
Amazing! I haven't seen yet any water feature made by you that I haven't been impressed with. Everything is so incredibly perfect. Congratulations and best regards from Chile.
That little thing is AWESOME! That's basically the size I want at my current home here in Illinois (The true serenity pond feature is for when we move to Tennessee in a couple seven years). You make and your team make things look so natural, I just love it. I'm not gonna lie, a little dust might have blown up into my eye when you got to explaining one of the customers was going to be able to enjoy that feature, not by sight, but by sound. I felt like Eddie Murphy in Daddy Daycare, "Are you trying to just break me down in the driveway? Why you want to break me down?" 🤣
Atlantis Water Gardens do you guys service the sicklerville area. We are moving from the city and I almost bought the aquascape system to do myself. After a ton of time looking at the hundreds of pond videos out there I’m not sure. I was looking at the 11x16 delux kit.
I love when you post videos. Your videos give me great inspiration when it comes to my own water features and also when Im creating my table top water fountains. Another great water feature in the books. Love you guys at Atlantis!!!!!
I have amazing rocks a pump just trying to figure out how to carve the shelves on the dirt hill of course the liner also ya r best best i watch every day
Another one for the calendar. It is surprising what you can fit in such a small space. Question, do you do the repairs on the lawn after you are done and is this part of the estimate for the job. You and your crew are true professionals.
We don’t do any lawn or landscape repairs. That is a conversation that is had before the project starts and they usually have their landscaper lined up to come after we’re finished 👍
I love that curve in the waterfall but it coming out straight at first is also perfect. I wonder how easy those ferns would come up; they’re loosely related to moss. That MT85 is a nice machine very natural to control. The real question is... is it still called a dingo? Do you consider those boulders limestone?
This is a beauty! Anyone point to a tutorial on how to wrap the liner edges on waterfall build? Really struggling to understand this part as I build my first one. In some spots the waterfall water level seems to be higher than we’re you could possibly have liner on the outsides...
@@Jayr2374 wow okay, I see so many times people never give a price and I think it would be good. So that people can look at their budget to see what that will look like. Thanks, PG

Another great job -- I'm so enjoying your videos, and I'm learning so much. Thank you for sharing your artistry and craftsmanship with us. I will be building my pond in a similarly small and confined space as in the backyard in this video -- fence corner on one end, and deck at the other. I'll have a waterfall down from the fence corner, and I will cantilever the deck over the pond. Question: have you ever built the pond skimmer and pump box under the deck and built a 'trap door' access into the deck to save space? Thoughts?
When the project starts I'm thinking fountain kit and then you went with aqua-blocks. Was this because of the quantity of water required to run the feature? Awesome work as always!
@@AtlantisWaterGardens Hi. What is the general retail cost to build a small-space pondless waterfall? I'm super busy at work, but would love to have someone come in and build one at my house. Thanks!

How do you pull off a job like this without a Bobcat? Both sides of my house are narrow with neighbors on either side. Does that mean wheelbarrows and heavy lifting? Choosing boulders that can be muscled around by one or two people. Thx
I am 17 years old and have recently started a water feature business. I had been building ponds for about 6 years for friend and family and this year I started my business. I recently got some traction and it has picked up a lot. I’m now booked until June. I met with a costumer yesterday and they had started to dig a pond but got too busy. They were turned of with the price and asked if I would dig the pond and they would do all the rock work themselves. This was incredible frustrating that they would hire a professional to do the grunt work and try to do the skilled work themselves. What advice do you have for dealing with customers who like DIY projects and don’t understand the value in hiring someone with experience?
That’s a great question Matthew and good luck with your business! I usually have that conversation up front before starting any kind of work so that the expectation is already set and there is no confusion later on. Hope this helps
Can you tell me your dimentions for this as it looks like the size of room i have to work with, and this would be just brilliant to look at something like this ( maybe not as good, lol, lol )

Before commencing any project, we inform homeowners that landscaping and related tasks will be their responsibility. While we strive to minimize any additional work, certain situations may result in unavoidable disturbances.
That was quick! Thanks. You checked a new comment on a 4 year old vid and replied in 28 minutes?!? I was impressed by your professionalism as shown in the vids (of which I have watched a lot in recent days because I’m planning a pondless stream through a Japanese garden for my front yard) but I’m more impressed with your professionalism now. I have a couple of questions though. What’s the flow rate in the installation in this vid and what flow rate would I need for a gentle flow off a rock into a gently sloping watercourse full of pebbles? The head height will probably only be about a metre, maybe a metre and a half if I can get a big enough rock. I don’t want a lot of noise and splashing but I want to see the water flowing over the pebbles and not have it trickling under them. Thanks.

Depending on how busy of a schedule you think you will keep, you certainly have the right to turn them down as hole digging is not your specialty.

If it rains heavily, where does the excess water go? Will it accumulate in the reservoir?
There is an overflow pipe built in that drains to daylight or we'll dig a small seepage pit.
