Some of my favorite projects are when we take an existing water feature that needs some love and give it an entirely new look! This waterfall & stream needed our help and we installed a new Aquascape Biofalls 6000 with an Aquascape Pond Skimmer 1000 to bring this backyard water garden back to life!

Atlantis Water Gardens is located at 3017 Route 10 in Denville (Morris County), NJ (New Jersey) with a full pond supply store and specializes in the design, maintenance and construction of backyard fish ponds, boulder waterfalls, fountainscapes, decorative water features, natural looking ponds, koi fish ponds and outdoor goldfish ponds for backyard landscapes.

Hi in the 70s here in the UK most DIY pond suppliers suggested carpet for underneath pond liners because at the time there was no special underlay. i know this cos my dad built all his own garden ponds and ive fallen in most LOL. No fish were harmed during my escapades
Whether it’s a pizza, a hamburger, or a pond and waterfalls, you’ve gotta start with the right ingredients, but you also need to know how to put it all together...done right, a pizza, a hamburger, or a pond and waterfalls can be an absolute work of art. Nice job guys!

Wow! This is outstanding. You did an excellent job meshing a very natural look (big boulders and meandering streambed) with more man-made elements (stacked stone walls.) Blending those two looks together successfully is not easy to do - but you did it perfectly! This is gorgeous!!!!

Jack the look on the upper waterfall where there was lots of large stones looks great because you layered them and can now walk right up to the top of waterfalls and the twisting of a relatively short stream was perfect. Great job!!!

The transformation is so beautiful, as if it was there naturally, a long time ago.

Enjoy your work. Just came back from a weekend Vacation and I went to a water fall and was following everything you say about framing rocks and so on. You got it down to the smallest details. Good job! I'll be incorporating your advice once I start building water falls in my landscape business.
As usual, Very Very Nicely Done Jaak! I've been watching Aquascape and other pond related TH-cam videos for several years, as I slowly work on my long-term pond project. I made up my mind a long time ago that Jaak Harju and Brian Helfrich are the best, and most talented, pond builders in the country. True artists! I just wish you guys were in California! One question I have is, do you use any type of adhesive between the stones of the stacked slate backdrop to the waterfall?
