@@dammond696not entirely wrong, but it’s not control for controls sake. Greenland has very important northern shipping lanes that would help box in Russian movements in the arctic. The Panama Canal would be key to curbing Chinese influence in Latin and South America. But at the same time we haven’t had territorial ambitions of this scale since manifest destiny, of which Trump mentioned in a speech about these things.

denmark is a nato ally and theyve already let our military do whatever they need to in greenland since the 50s. why would we need to annex it
