Amazing effect you have created Lois even down to the shiny shadow on the water, thanks greatly appreciate you explaining clearly and sharing your technique with everyone
I am amazed at how you are able to add a figure and have it fit just right. When you began with the head it looked like it was going to be too high up. You have showcased your skills to determine perfect placement! The piece is delightful!❤
Can’t imagine how you got the figure so perfect …straight in one go… I would have had to do a dozen attempts in pencil first … that’s what separates the artist from the rest of us …I guess !
I think that it's important to stress that, although the painting is loose, you need to have some idea what you are trying to paint before you begin putting paint on paper.
@@neiltravis2396 of course, that goes without saying, planning a painting, whether loose or not is always an important part of the process. The only time when planning isn’t involved would be if one was painting spontaneously or experimenting with no clear goal in mind. Loose painting probably requires the most planning of all in order to keep it looking fresh
SIMPLY LOVELY. How do you know how to place the4 figures? I mean how big and where does the head go in different scenes? Is there a rule? I know most heads have to be at the same level, but i struggle with how big. Hoe you or someone else can help me.
@@kellyhalligan1328 heads are only at the same level on flat landscapes, this figure is looking down from a clifftop. If you research perspective you will find out all the relevant information

Bravissima bellissimo lo adoro 😊ora mi aspetto un altro dipinto un bel tramonto tutto rosso sul mare 🎉❤
Thank you!😊
Adding a figure almost at the end for me can be a bit scary however you make look so easy!
It just takes practice!
Amazing, I think if I’d approached painting a figure from the head down it would end up looking 10ft tall or floating!
Many thanks, just practice and knowledge of perspective and proportions 😊
Very impressive!
Thank you!😊
