thank you for the kind comments. I am waiting on some Tangerine orange paint, and some metallic purple. As Near as I can tell those are the colors. I am sure there was a day they went to Tom Daniel and asked what colors and something like that is what he probably said.
I think a lot of those "back from the day" kits with the Patina of time, keep us honest about where we started, where we are and where we have yet to go. It also makes you more generous with other "young in the hobby fellow modelers". It always pays to be kind and encouraging... everything I know ... I learned from someone else.... keep on modeling....
@@model-tube3917 I have a few kits from the 70’s been packed up for 35 plus yrs.that my mom bought me. I new at 10.to just tack them together and one day when I got older I would really know how to put them together.with y’alls help that never stopped modeling. I can learn the how too thanks for the tips.keep on modeling

Yes indeed. For me the magic of a lot of my kits was how they existed in my minds eye... this step of visualizing really is what has become the secret of my modeling.
