He can do that if he wants. I don’t though. I’ve been operating my location for 21 years now. Way back 20 years ago I stopped playing that game with these people. Food back or it’s a done deal. Even if they have a receipt. You don’t get to eat the food and then get a refund or more food.

I worked at a McD’s in 1985 in a bad area of Houston. People would try this scam all day long, typically after they ate half the food they’d then complain that it wasn’t good. We never fell for that scam.
Honestly black people, particularly the low class ones tend to be so weird about food. They always expect bottom of the barrel slop to be served to absolute perfection and freak out when it isn't, and they seem to be fixated on getting these cheap fast food and corporate chain meals for free and will totally throw out their dignity and shame to achieve that.
This is a scam. Nobody in their right mind would throw away everything they paid for because it wasn't spicy, and THEN go back empty-handed and demand money back with no food or receipt. Guaranteed that manager deals with this same scam 5 times a day.

My friend owns a bar, he's a white guy I'm a black dude. Not that really has anything to do with it, but I just mentioned that for context! These two overweight black women order 20 hot wings from my friends bar, they called back and said they didn't like the food so my friend told them to bring the food back that they didn't eat for proof. When they brought back the box of wings that they ordered and bought from my friend's bar, there was only four whole wings left, and the rest was bones inside of the container 😂😂😂!
These women were so disappointed in the wings the first time, that they only brought back the four wings and the all the bones!!! Lol😅
My friend gave them extra wings, he told them to NEVER ever order food from his bar AGAIN!

Why can't people be reasonable? When I have the occasional minor problem eating out, I explain it and gladly accept the MINIMUM to make it right. What's so HARD about that. If I'm hungry, I'd NEVER want a refund (or things are so bad I'm never going back there -- and for me that's always been a many-time service problem, NOT a food problem).
Over at a Jack in the Box, I have seen a sign saying "No refunds. Any mistake in food orders will be corrected or replaced when food returned". They should just put up a sign like this.

That's pretty normal in many parts of America though because many people live in areas that require them to drive more to buy food in those cases it's makes more sense just to buy in bulk and stock up instead, there's other factors like gas prices and traffic that add to commuting costs.

This stuff happens constantly. If you’ve ever worked as a server in a restaurant, you would know that you dread having to serve black people. Even black servers dread it. Obviously not all, but more than not. So rude, make you work your ass off, always trying to get discounts or free shit, always asking for a manager(the REAL Karens) and then leave you nothing for a tip and when they do it’s barely anything. They’re also notorious for dine and dash too
I worked at McDonald's in the early 80's when the chicken McNuggets were first introduced. A well dressed and polite black man ordered an order of the nuggets. After he completely finished eating the entire order he returned to the counter and DEMANDED a refund. His complaint? His complaint is that he has never had chicken during his life that didn’t include bread. The manager politely gave him a refund. He came in again 1 week later and ordered the same thing. He then did the same thing as the week before. He was politely escorted out of the business. This was a older style McDonald's, no drive-thru. This was my first of many many of these experiences and 99% were from the same person of characteristics and demographics

Disgusting way to get a refund. I recently had a crappy place deliver crap wings to me. I just stopped ordering from the place and deal with inflation in the grocery store.

Receipt should have been with food if she was telling the truth. She should've dug deeper and found any Receipt. Manager was onto the scam. DAMN GOOD SHOW as always !
