    My wife and I bought an L7 in October 2021. For those who may care I'll share my unsolicited advice.
    #1 - If you plan on using it as a work horse around the property get the steel bed. We got the standard poly bed thinking it would be durable enough. It is very abrasion resistant, won't rust etc. One of the tailgate pivot points broke while dumping a load of stones. We had to buy the steel bed to replace it. Just buy the steel bed the first time. (We coated the steel bed with Herculiner DIY bedliner to help prolong its life)
    #2 - Take time to consider ALL the options you might want and get the UTV configured that way from the beginning. We got the Trail package with the upgraded 1 piece windshield. We thought that was good enough. Later ordered the Work and ride light package and the electric bed dump. We didn't really save much money and had to install it ourselves.
    #3 - Think about your needs and which type of tire will best suit your needs. Landmaster offers several options and the standard default trail tires might not be what you want. There is not only the choice of different treads but you can also get 25" - 10 12's in front instead of 25" -8 12's.
    #4 - Storage is very sparse on these machines. The console was not an option in 2021 as it was the first year of the new L7 model. You will likely want it.
    #5 - If you use this machine to move a trailer (5' by 10' size "haul crap with your truck utility trailer") around your property you will need more than a 2 inch drop hitch for the receiver. The trailer jack will interfere with the bed of the Landmaster)
    #6 - Get the power steering. It is money well spent.
    #7 - Depending on your needs, the 1 piece windshield is a very nice upgrade.
    #8 - We only use ethanol-free gas in the machine. Expensive but we want to protect our investment
    #9 - We also added a rubber mat (farm supply store, horse trailer type mat) to the dump bed. Protects it from damage when we throw big rocks into it.
    #10 - Understand that these machines are not designed to compete with the big name brands, they are a very nice alternative to the import Chinese machines sitting out front of the big box stores. If you want a machine to help with chores around your property but don't want to shell out the bucks for name brand, consider this machine before you buy a (whatever they brand it as) offshore utv.

    Is the clutch sealed so no water can get on the belt and cause slipping?

    • @LandmasterUTVs
      @LandmasterUTVs  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It is covered completely which protects the belt from outside debris. Being completely sealed is not needed. Our clutch system is designed so if water gets inside it does not cause the belt to slip or impact the drivability of the unit.

    Instrumentation seems to be lacking or limited. How many cylinders for the engine? How accessible are the oil and fuel filters? Power steering? My 2nd go around with a UTV the 1st being a 2013 750 EFI Cub Cadet Volunteer appears similar but had its issues. Oh yea what about warranty and parts?

    • @LandmasterUTVs
      @LandmasterUTVs  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Michael, thank you for your questions. Instrumentation is everything you need. You have a voltage meter, fuel gauge, hour gauge, parking brake light, seat belt light, and engine indicator lights. Our engines are known for being easy to maintain and service. Oil and fuel filters are very easy to access and change. Our L5 and L7 are V-Twin engines. L5 is carb, L7 is EFI. L3 and L4 are single-cylinder engines. L3 is carb, L4 is EFI with ETC. 1 year bumper to bumper warranty, we cover everything. 3 Year engine warranty. We hope that helps! I'm a little confused on the 4 wheel drive operation. I am pretty sure it is not "on demand", but rather you can shift on the fly, if the switch is on it is in 4 wheel drive. please correct me if I'm wrong.

    • @LandmasterUTVs
      @LandmasterUTVs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Greg, sorry the for late reply. This is a true on-demand system. When you hit the on-demand 4x4 switch the vehicle actually remains in 4x2 mode until any sense of rear-wheel slippage is detected. Once there is slippage on the back wheels it will send power to the front to engage 4x4 mode. This helps conserve fuel and prevent lawns from getting tore up when you don't need 4x4 mode.

    I’m really wanting to purchase the crew L7 crew ,but I have questions like how does it perform on slopes pushing 40% and also pushing snow with plow . I live in the Shenandoah mountain area and we have very steep trails and sometimes massive snow storms. My utv I have now has performed well through the years but it’s time has about come to a end . Thanks for any feed .

    • @LandmasterUTVs
      @LandmasterUTVs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At 40% degrees it will perform fine, but also depends on how long the grade is. It will climb, but may slow down a bit depending on the length. Plowing is no problem for the L7 crew. Let us know if you have more questions. You can find your local dealer on our website if you're interested in test driving.

    Not real impressed. Would have been nice for a suggested retail price on what you were showing. There are some positives, but the speed is not one of them nor the storage and especially the drink holders. The driver doesn't have one unless he has long arms like an ape. I really see your company one of the most likely to fail considering the number of UTV's on the market that outperform yours. Much in the design seems as though someone with little to no experience with a UTV designed them.

    American Landmaster is the worst utv on the market. I bought an L7 in Dec of 21' and it was on the shop 7 times in the first year for the same 2 problems which are still not fixed! The Dealer said Landmaster was going to call me to see if they could possibly give me a new one or make it right on some way... still haven't heard from them. Stay away from them!
