Another Buell fan here. I rode Harleys for 35 years, then discovered the 1125. Bought a CR, then an R, then an XB9R, and another R...if I sold them, I could buy a new 1190RX, but I don’t want to give any of them up! Might have to sell a couple of shovelheads!
Brotha, I couldn't have said it better. I've been a die hard Harley guy since I was in HS and got my first iron head. I bought a buell years ago to build a quick little chopper. Still have that buell (and 4 others) selling an Evo chopper to get an 1190. Can't fight the buell disease.... They make my heart smile
tom serbaducci I totally agree, Tom. I started on an iron head too, after I left the Army. I rode a Triumph, then a BMW while in the service, but constantly lusted after a Sporty. Finally got the right one at the right price after ETSing.
wait... is that 1190 a black lightning? cause as far as i know they only 1190sx that came in black was the black lightning. if it is i am totally jealous cause those were supposed to come out on the November of the year they closed its doors and was never released, as far as i know they had one display model.
bigredbarron09 I still love my 1125, honestly it's quite a bit smoother than the 1190 engine... the 1190 is a different beast. Loves to live above 5k rpms
I have an 1125r and a XB9SX and i have been dying to get an 1190SX since heard they where making them. As a Buell fanboy there is no way i will not get an EBR. Its just a matter of time until i can afford another bike

I would love a 1125cr or a 1190sx. I have a 03 buell xb9s and a 17 kawasaki z900. The xb9s is limited by the engine but it's still a fun bike. Because it have good torque down low, it makes slow speed wheelies easy and smooth. For the price u can get the bikes for it's a good everyday bike. Parts are cheaper than most other bikes and the low center of gravity makes it feel lighter then it is, which it isn't a heavy bike to start with and makes it handle good too. It is also comfortable to ride. But my z900 is also comfortable especially after I get a softer seat lol. Has good torque and HP and is also fun. Wheelies good but not a easy to do slow speed wheelies as the xb9s is. I am really thinking of trading the z900 for a 1125cr or r. To me its also a plus that I have a app and buelltooth that will also work on the 1125's. Even tho most people would probably say the z900 is a better bike. I like my buell better and it has a buell race exhaust so it sounds great.
Hey there Mike just wanted to know if you know anything about fixing a sprag clutch on a 2009 1125r just got the bike in great shape but needing a cluster for it and now this starter clutch thing.needs replaced what that going to cost me to have fixed

Do NOTbuy a Bolt. The bigglest waste of money since Enron stock. There's lots of xb9r s out there for very reasonable money and they are a whole different animal.
Started with a '01 Artic White X1, moved to a '08 XB12 SCG, was always intrigued by the 1125's, and once I saw the 1190SX and it's spec sheet that was it. My only concern was support for the bikes, be it either repairs or parts. That's why I stuck with the older Buells as their motors were more or less HD's. Would still love a 1190SX, but what do you know about support for the bikes? Any whispers on parts becoming scarce or anything like that? Thanks for the video bud, and awesome bikes! Shiny side up!
It’s so sad I see a few 1125r for sale for 3000$ cad. About 2k euro 😱. I have a 1125cr. I love it but I have moved onto adventure riding . And doesn’t seem I can get decent money for my stock 1125cr

Harley in South Africa won't help us Buell owners anymore,but fortunately the 1125 is very reliable and the consumables like brakes and filters etc are easily available elsewhere. Any other bits we either used to order from the EBR site or via the Facebook community.
gary knoetze sadly the EBR site is no longer helpful. If you ever need anything man hit me up! I have no problem shipping you parts from the states to keep a fellow Buell owner going

You lost me at every buell owner wants an 1125. The air cooked bikes sound so much better and aside from the ebr's looking bad ass the 1125 is hideous. Have fun changing stator's

You'll love it. Dean Admas exhaust ecm and 44 rear sprocket. Hardest accelerating bike I've owned. Wheel in the air into 4th. Love it

I never wanted the 1125. I have always been very happy with my XB9S.
I've been wanting an 1190sx. My 1125r keeps me satisfied though :)

@@davidwilson2657 yes. Or I wouldn't make that claim. Top speed on my 2002 is 152 mph. XBs only go around 130. Ask any buell owner.
