My father once scolded my mother for telling she was having periods to me, since i am a male child, even if i am a doctor....then i told my father this quite a normal thing and no need to get offended for expressing it. Now she tell it openly that she is having periods without using any sign language..this has to be normalised in every family....that's what I think 😊😊

I am a teenager of 14 years old. Once during periods time I was traveling and I had intense stomach aches. My whole family was with me i.e. my bro, my cousin bro, my mom, my moms sister, my dad and my grandma. They were all there when I was trying to endure my pain. I was also telling them that I had severe stomach aches. But nobody cared even when I kept telling them. I guess they knew but nobody helped me. It was a very sad moment. Here nobody in my family actually cares or helps when I’m on my periods. It’s really sad🤧

totally relatable . It gets worse when need to prepare for exams and even had to attend board exams during my periods . travelling via bus, attending school assembly ,concentrating on classes are really hectic . But need to admit I had a group of friends who understands us . People tell to keep all these as mysteries but honestly opening up to male friends are great . When they try to understand us it feels great . Lying in their shoulders and having their arms around itself makes us feels really better . The pain will be still there but when society treats us as impure the feeling of being pampered in this condition is what we actually require .

Even today some of the households face this situation where some of the husbands do not know what is "periods"and the problems being faced.
I personally suggest that in pre-marriage classes the concept of "periods" is to be taught by the counselors so that each of them can understand.
This is what I faced and I couldn’t share with my mother.now I am taking care of my daughter who matured recently..
My eyes were filled with tears through out this video because my husband never understand my period pain

sometime even some women who didn't have any pain during periods also think all others don't have pain.they are just acting or overreacting.
when i was working ,there were two ladies in hr and accounts .i used to have horrible pain.if i am asking for half day leave they will warn me like we will cut your salary if you are taking half day every month.we also have periods then what is special for you.this is your plan to take half day leave.i cant think about that two ladies without anger.first women should understand other woman's situation.i think men is too much better than some women nowadays
