Some cat tips for you or anyone watching because I realize getting your first cat doesn't mean you know everything -- first thing is laser toys seem like a really easy, fun thing for a cat but it actually lowers their confidence since they can never actually capture their prey! When playing you should allow your cat to "win" some of the time so as to avoid this. Another is when introducing your cat to other animals in the future it's strongly recommended that you do a "scent swap" first and when introducing each other let your cat roam freely in a room while containing the dog to a carrier or on the other side of a fence. (It's possible you might've done some of this but it's unclear what time frame there was in the video.) I recommend getting at least two litter boxes per cat, this is because they like to do number one in 1 and number two in another! And last tip is to look into raw feeding! A cat's natural diet in the wild allows them to get most of their daily water intake from the actual food itself -- this is not possible when leaving kibble out for them to snack on whenever. This is a bigger problem for male cats but urinary issues from not drinking enough water is extremely common in housecats. I recommend checking out sources like "My Cat From Hell" or even in terms of other youtubers; Jun and Rachel, they take excellent care of their cats. Not saying you don't, but these are just some pointers because I don't want people watching this thinking they can get a cat and just buy a bunch of toys thinking they'll be happy -- cats can be pretty tricky to care for! Best of luck and I hope I don't come off as rude

Ik im late but im p sure youre supposed to bathe kittens a bit so they get used to it, incase when they're older they have to have one for whatever reason, they're far less likely to get stressed if theyre bathed sometimes when theyre younger
For a collar, I'd recommend one that breaks off easily if she gets stuck while climbing. My parents did that for when their cats got stuck on stuff insude.

i'm late, but just a quick tip from someone who's lived with cats my whole life: cats don't need to be bathed! they clean themselves perfectly fine. there are exceptions to this, like if the cat is omega dirty or is a breed like a munchkin that can't clean itself, but from what i can tell Somi should be good on her own in that sense uwu

Ik im late but im p sure youre supposed to bathe kittens a bit so they get used to it, incase when they're older they have to have one for whatever reason, they're far less likely to get stressed if theyre bathed sometimes when theyre younger
