You can have an additional keypad, I've moved over from visonic to pyronix & find it a very good system, still learning my way around the system, would like to know if you can have a panic mode set on one of the buttons on the keyfobs? Or is there a default sequence you can do on the keyfob buttons to do a panic mode? Be nice to see some more videos from you as you do explain it very well 👍
Great video. One thing I’d like to know is how do you stop the alarm once it’s been triggered/while it’s going off and then how do you reset it after an alarm? I’d also like to know what to do if you start to enter the code to disarm and accidentally press a wrong number? Thank you Sir.
Some of my motion detectors won’t set the alarm off when I walk past them? I’ve learnt them and added code 06 for intruder but nothing happens ? Can you help out ?
Hi mate, do you know the back way into these. Need to reprogram engineer code but can’t get in as I haven’t got the installers code and can’t get hold of them.
Yes unscrew the panel. Unplug the AC lead from PSU and disconnect the battery. Disconnect everything front the front, as you look on the back of the Keypad you will see a black port with 8 pins count out pins 5 & 6 along the top and short them out with a link. Plug in the ac power lead and when the date and time appear press yes. The alarm will sound for 60 seconds then drop into the engineer menu once done.
I have an older Pyronix wired system, which has been brilliant, and been thinking og upgrading. Out of interewst how liong do the batteries last in the PIR's??
Hi ..any ideas how to remove a panel tamper alarm . I changed the panel battery as it had a fault message. 2 min job, then the panel tamper came up, obviously, as I opened the cover. However I have tried everything to remove the yellow triangle tamper ⚠️ warning..even depressing the tamper switch loads of times in case it was sticky.. Thanks
Enter the user code if set with tamper is enabled this will show what the issue is and then press no if the tamper as been sorted the amber light will go out. However is engineer restore after fault is there you will require the engineer code to solve this issue
I’ve just taken over a euro 46 - don’t normally work on them. Im needing to get into the eng menu, will defaulting the NVM on a euro 46 panel wipe all the zone programming etc?
Yes it will instead: Power down and remove battery Remove Bell tamper Power up on mains only Press Yes Alarm will sound for 60 seconds and then drop into engineer mode.

recently got a pyronix kit however when powered up the panel says control panel battery fault Is this normal and needs to charge up,as yours looked ok..Or how do i get rid of this message

I do believe there is a panic on the key fob I think you have to press the 2 keys down at the same time don’t quote me on that tho

Can you buy this and install DIY yourself is it easy enough? Also will it let me use the App to control?
My keyfob will arm but won’t un arm? Any ideas..?? I have de restricted the pin so it’s not that. Just the fob for unsettling not working
