Something I really like about this theme is how it cycles back to Giorno's theme constantly, but every time it gets interrupted back to the main melody which each time gets bigger and/or adds instruments like the synths at the end. It gives the feeling that Golden Experience Requiem is trying to hijack the song, but Touma just keeps returning it back to its course. Not sure if it was intended, but it's a great way to convey the actual characters through the music.
But then as soon as Touma’s theme starts to take back control, GER starts to pull it back once more. This feels like a tug of war, neither side letting the other gain the upper hand by stopping anything that the other throws at them. Every time Touma goes for a finishing blow, it’s reversed back to zero, but every time Touma will stop it partially with imagine breaker..

Still one of my favourite songs of Brandon. Not only because of the built-in theme of how Giorno and Touma are fighting over even the control of the music, but also since the guitar of Giorno's theme usually takes place when Giorno puts into action a way to defeat his opponent and has them already cornered, but the context of a Death Battle where either side can lose paired with the fact that this battle music arrangement features his theme itself struggling against another theme give the guitar parts such a nice bittersweet flavour.

As Stands are supernatural they would be negated the same way esper powers are. Just I doubt they'd be destroyed, just reverted to their inactive state in the user's body. GER is useless against Touma due to the fact it's basically just a dumb down weaker version of what Magic gods do. Meaning Girono needs to be clever with regular GE
For the death I’d like Touma to touch GER and then a massive light erupts from GER returning to just golden experience but Giorno tries to keep fighting but without GER he stands (ha) no chance and dies
But if Touma were to die Giorno could reveal that the fight never happened and in Touma’s shock Giorno Muda Muda him back to the shadow realm killing him

Denied of what they wanted to achieve or their truth,plus giorno's will is dio's will and dio was defeated by the joestars and fate.That is the resolve and journey of part 5 achieving your dreams and not being shackled by fate.
One of my favorites from this batch of tracks, it kind of sucks to hear that Giorno likely loses Though I do imagine Giorno would catch on that some of his abilities would not work against Imagine Breaker pretty quickly. So I think Giorno would have to use his ability to turn inanimate objects into life in pretty clever ways to keep him in the fight, like maybe turning broken glass shards into butterflies and turn them back into glass and use them as projectiles. There's a lot of potential that's there for a fight like this to be really visually interesting
Also Touma's reaction ability at practice is gonna be tested, it was insane enough to block a high speed rock , a disguising projectile should be a test for him
Yes indeed it's ironic really, this is a fight where his old weaker power is infinitely more useful than GER... which would be literally useless against Touma. Sadly for him I'd still say Touma would win due to his sheer experience and the amount of fucking punishment he can take Dude can give a full 10 minute pep-talk despite having his entire lower half including part of his lungs and his heart blown away
@@craytherlaygaming2852 If I recall correctly, GER still retained his power of giving life to inanimate objects while still having Return to Zero in his fight with Diavolo but people think that he just lost it because when you think of GER you think of Return to Zero. It's not that regular Golden Experience is much better in this scenario, it just means that Giorno's ace in the hole isn't going to be of much use

To be fair... the real decider is if or not Giorno is smart enough to figure out IB is limited to Touma's right hand. If so... well... What an interesting fight! What an amazing track! I personally believe that Touma can defeat Giorno. As a fan of both ACMI and JJBA I believe Touma's negation could counter anything Giorno throws out. Including GER.
It's not a matter of belief, it's basically confirmed that Touma would stomp Giorno. In the light novels, IB passively negated a 11-dimensional wipe from a god who transcended cause and effect, time and space, and the concept of fate, history, and numbers. Said god rewrote cause and effect to make it so that the universe _never existed to begin with._ And that's not even the craziest thing Touma has negated so far. Overall, Index scales above JJBA, even if we include non-canon abilities like Dio Over Heaven and Novel Kars.
Said feat is arguably multiversal, given how complicated and compact Index's universe is. But with how vague the wording can get at times, it's hard to evaluate things objectively. It all depends on how you interpret the phases of Index.

@Dylan Ogega Stands aren't exactly continual sources of power though. In Jojo, stands are sent out once, and do not regenerate. Their damage is reflected onto the user, and have to be brought back. They may be manifestations of the users' will, but they can't resist Imagine Breaker the way Innocentius did.
Touma would act like a anti-stand arrow. It would at most cause anyone who doesn't naturally develop a stand would lose their stand power. But people like Giorno and Jotaro would only not be able to use it so long as IB is in contact, and it would disrupt their abilities if it touches the stand ironic really as IB's prior form Was a arrow
Actually, GE might be fairly difficult for Imagine Breaker to effect. It's had trouble in the past with sufficiently powerful magic entities AND magical entities that can move faster than Touma can touch it. I don't know much about the series Touma is from but I'm guessing he's been able to see spirits/ghosts before, which means he could see Gold Experience...but remember, Jotaro only lost to Kenshiro because Ken can move faster than the speed of light. Given that Touma specifically has had trouble using the Imagine Breaker on fast moving targets, this would be a far harder fight than it seems. Ironically though, GER is far easier to counter, since it would be contained within the Stand Arrow.

@Adrian Banks i don't know, but as far i get, Touma only can turn things back to their original state, he can in theory turn but gio´s creations back to normal, but in case of damage one of said creations, i guess he cant do anything about if is something small enough to kill him in the spot or at least to break his arm -which as far as i get for the comments, is back he need to use his power- i know about giorno but touma, well not much.

It doesn't discriminate against abnormal supernatural effects. Negative or positive, And Touma touching one of the life given objects with them would return them to normal. Girorno would need to use it cleverly to indirectly hit Touma, he can negate vines Gionro created, but not rubble caused by them busting thorough a bridge.
Touma vs Kumagawa is an infinitely better matchup than the one with Accelerator, the connections and contrast are much better than edgy anime icons from from the early 2010's😒

A did a little reading on this Kamijou guy and it seems as though GE would fall within the limitations of his magic-canceling ability. He's had trouble canceling sufficiently powerful enough magical effects and fast-moving magical entities, both of which describe GE fairly well. Ironically, GER would be far easier for him to deal with since he could focus his attention on the Stand Arrow.
@@fatu1ty294 Yeah that dimensional crossbow absolutely makes things tough for Giorno, Still, though, Imagine Breaker has had trouble fully canceling out things like Gold Experience in the past. Magical or Supernatural, I'd still say Stands count as things Imagine Breaker could cancel, it's just its strength that's a concern. I'd be curious to see where the fight against Diavolo would put Giorno and GER's Speed, though, since there's some pretty whacky stuff happening in that fight.

Yeah, Touma is basically created to be a character who can match up to anyone even those with overpowered abilities. There are actually characters in the Index that can rewrite causality and fate I believe, which IB can negate. He still loses to people with purely outstanding physical abilities.

honestly i am kinda curious how the imagine breaker would work on stands, cause technically if it goes by the rule of stand users can only see stands, then would kamijou only sense ger and most importantly, what would happen if *the creature of the right hand* shows up, could it destroy GER in its entirety
I think Touma , despite cannot seeing it , he can predict the movement of Giorno or when GE starts punching , he can feel it as long as he can read Giorno's expression, facial muscle , etc

Idk what to say about the track this time, I feel like there's too much Giorno's Theme in it, but I also see that it's possibly done in the ACMI music style, or maybe Kamijou's? Idk. Also no piano part. As for the MU itself, thought this was Giorno vs Misogi for a sec, but thank god it isn't. I prefer Giorno vs Joker, but I can live with this one. And I really don't know who wins, considering I don't know Kamijou, so I'll stick with Giorno.
Also , Touma's story isn't ended yet , so we didn't know all of his arsenal aside from Imagine Breaker , dragons , and Invisible Thing. Plus , in a straight-up brawl , later incarnations of Touma is well-known to fight dirty.

It's less so about the connections and moreso the argument. Remember how Wolverine needed a perfect opponent who could contend with his healing factor and adamantium? Similarly, Touma is the best debate Giorno has. Touma can avoid GER's hax, but he doesn't drastically overpower Giorno either, and Giorno is probably faster. You could say they're two idealistic teens with immensely powerful abilities, but physically they're both normal people.

Well from what I've heard in the light novel Touma was able to see someone's soul and even if he couldn't see GER he actually has precognition for supernatural phenomenons so he should be able to sense GER's presense since he was able to sense an attack coming from another Dimension in his series

I think Gappy with Soft & Wet: Go Beyond or Tooru with Wonder of You could beat Touma, Gappy because the bubble attack does not exist, and thus cannot be abnormal and be countered by the arm, while Wonder of You is the completely natural and normal force in JoJo known as calamity and thus couldn't be stopped by the arm. From there the only question is if Touma speed blitzes regardless.
"Go beyond" I doubt it.Touma can nullify all esper power including Kakine that use matter that doesn't exist in the universe. "Wonder of you" Touma was stated to be able nullify luck and fate itself which also part of the natural order.Calamity are still supernatural because it was used again those who have bad intention against Tooru making it no longer natural.

DIO vs Alucard would attract way too much salt. People would bring up Alucard’s regeneration if DIO wins,but if Alucard wins,they’ll say DIO would keep on killing Alucard until Alucard uses level 0,and then kill him once and for all when he reaches level 0. The JoJo battle I want most personally is a Joe Star battle royale or a JoJo villain battle royale.

And for Johnny,I’m not sure since in order to get Act 4,he needs to learn the final act/lesson of spin,but they’ll probably have him know spin entirely,but then again,his other 3 acts will only have him get through Jonathan,Joseph,Josuke,and maybe Jolyne at MOST,so depends if Johnny can still hang in there,and Gappy has shown to do some crazy stuff which can POSSIBLY get him through Jotaro and can steal Giorno’s eye sight or bones,and it depends if Golden Experience Requiem can still reset time stop to nothing,but in order for him to do that,it has to be an attack coming directly at Giorno or the stand,we also don’t know whether it can only use its ability on physical attacks. And for the villain royale,it really depends if they’re gonna give Pucci C Moon or if they consider the green child outside help or not. Kars is a god and the ultimate life form and arguably immortal,and of course,the villains have no way of getting past Valentine’s Love Train. And DIO still has his vampire powers,so he could stop time and freeze Pucci (unless he can move in stopped time) and Valentine,or shoot lasers at their brain. It’s a lot closer than it seems.

How if it's the reverse ? If we use New Testament or Genesis Testament Touma , his feats are much better Insane reflex that allows him to avoid a lightspeed projectile or even better , arrows that fucks with concept of numbers , survived getting Diavolo'd , slamming a whole continent on an archangel and punched them afterwards , etc. But knowing DB's , they probably use Genesis Testament Touma which his feat plus NT and OT ones is quite excellent.

Something I really like about this theme is how it cycles back to Giorno's theme constantly, but every time it gets interrupted back to the main melody which each time gets bigger and/or adds instruments like the synths at the end. It gives the feeling that Golden Experience Requiem is trying to hijack the song, but Touma just keeps returning it back to its course. Not sure if it was intended, but it's a great way to convey the actual characters through the music.
But then as soon as Touma’s theme starts to take back control, GER starts to pull it back once more. This feels like a tug of war, neither side letting the other gain the upper hand by stopping anything that the other throws at them. Every time Touma goes for a finishing blow, it’s reversed back to zero, but every time Touma will stop it partially with imagine breaker..

A Certain Bizarre Stand. I knew this was going to be great when I saw the thumbnail but you really went all out on this one.
Still one of my favourite songs of Brandon. Not only because of the built-in theme of how Giorno and Touma are fighting over even the control of the music, but also since the guitar of Giorno's theme usually takes place when Giorno puts into action a way to defeat his opponent and has them already cornered, but the context of a Death Battle where either side can lose paired with the fact that this battle music arrangement features his theme itself struggling against another theme give the guitar parts such a nice bittersweet flavour.

It works as the reference point of the universe making the user immune to reality warping. As Stands are supernatural they would be negated the same way esper powers are. Just I doubt they'd be destroyed, just reverted to their inactive state in the user's body. GER is useless against Touma due to the fact it's basically just a dumb down weaker version of what Magic gods do. Meaning Girono needs to be clever with regular GE

Denied of what they wanted to achieve or their truth,plus giorno's will is dio's will and dio was defeated by the joestars and fate.That is the resolve and journey of part 5 achieving your dreams and not being shackled by fate.
One of my favorites from this batch of tracks, it kind of sucks to hear that Giorno likely loses
Though I do imagine Giorno would catch on that some of his abilities would not work against Imagine Breaker pretty quickly. So I think Giorno would have to use his ability to turn inanimate objects into life in pretty clever ways to keep him in the fight, like maybe turning broken glass shards into butterflies and turn them back into glass and use them as projectiles. There's a lot of potential that's there for a fight like this to be really visually interesting
Also Touma's reaction ability at practice is gonna be tested, it was insane enough to block a high speed rock , a disguising projectile should be a test for him
Most Giorno matchups are hell. It's usually ends up being a predictable stalemate/inconclusive. This is actually one of the better matchups.

What an interesting fight! What an amazing track! I personally believe that Touma can defeat Giorno. As a fan of both ACMI and JJBA I believe Touma's negation could counter anything Giorno throws out. Including GER.
It's not a matter of belief, it's basically confirmed that Touma would stomp Giorno.
In the light novels, IB passively negated a 11-dimensional wipe from a god who transcended cause and effect, time and space, and the concept of fate, history, and numbers.
Said god rewrote cause and effect to make it so that the universe _never existed to begin with._ And that's not even the craziest thing Touma has negated so far.
Overall, Index scales above JJBA, even if we include non-canon abilities like Dio Over Heaven and Novel Kars.
Said feat is arguably multiversal, given how complicated and compact Index's universe is. But with how vague the wording can get at times, it's hard to evaluate things objectively. It all depends on how you interpret the phases of Index.

In Jojo, stands are sent out once, and do not regenerate. Their damage is reflected onto the user, and have to be brought back. They may be manifestations of the users' will, but they can't resist Imagine Breaker the way Innocentius did.
Touma would act like a anti-stand arrow. It would at most cause anyone who doesn't naturally develop a stand would lose their stand power. But people like Giorno and Jotaro would only not be able to use it so long as IB is in contact, and it would disrupt their abilities if it touches the stand

Actually, GE might be fairly difficult for Imagine Breaker to effect. It's had trouble in the past with sufficiently powerful magic entities AND magical entities that can move faster than Touma can touch it. I don't know much about the series Touma is from but I'm guessing he's been able to see spirits/ghosts before, which means he could see Gold Experience...but remember, Jotaro only lost to Kenshiro because Ken can move faster than the speed of light. Given that Touma specifically has had trouble using the Imagine Breaker on fast moving targets, this would be a far harder fight than it seems.
Ironically though, GER is far easier to counter, since it would be contained within the Stand Arrow.
Y'know what make a even more interesting fight?? Himegami vs Dio 😅 I just want to see the reaction of people, know that a random girl can kill Dio by simply existing.

It doesn't discriminate against abnormal supernatural effects. Negative or positive, And Touma touching one of the life given objects with them would return them to normal.
Girorno would need to use it cleverly to indirectly hit Touma, he can negate vines Gionro created, but not rubble caused by them busting thorough a bridge.

A did a little reading on this Kamijou guy and it seems as though GE would fall within the limitations of his magic-canceling ability. He's had trouble canceling sufficiently powerful enough magical effects and fast-moving magical entities, both of which describe GE fairly well. Ironically, GER would be far easier for him to deal with since he could focus his attention on the Stand Arrow.

Magical or Supernatural, I'd still say Stands count as things Imagine Breaker could cancel, it's just its strength that's a concern.
I'd be curious to see where the fight against Diavolo would put Giorno and GER's Speed, though, since there's some pretty whacky stuff happening in that fight.

Yeah, Touma is basically created to be a character who can match up to anyone even those with overpowered abilities. There are actually characters in the Index that can rewrite causality and fate I believe, which IB can negate. He still loses to people with purely outstanding physical abilities.

I think Touma , despite cannot seeing it , he can predict the movement of Giorno or when GE starts punching , he can feel it as long as he can read Giorno's expression, facial muscle , etc

@@melindabolding5601 touma specifically counters overpowered reality warping abilities so rtz is useless but touma can still be physically hurt and killed if the enemy is simply strong and ger still has the life creation ability and can even do it from range like with the scorpions in the diavolo fight, this means that ger could just create a hundred bears to maul touma to death, plus stands in jojo are mftl by death battle's logic and because of that touma wouldn't be able to touch ger and make it cease to exist

It's less so about the connections and moreso the argument. Remember how Wolverine needed a perfect opponent who could contend with his healing factor and adamantium? Similarly, Touma is the best debate Giorno has. Touma can avoid GER's hax, but he doesn't drastically overpower Giorno either, and Giorno is probably faster.
You could say they're two idealistic teens with immensely powerful abilities, but physically they're both normal people.

I think Gappy with Soft & Wet: Go Beyond or Tooru with Wonder of You could beat Touma, Gappy because the bubble attack does not exist, and thus cannot be abnormal and be countered by the arm, while Wonder of You is the completely natural and normal force in JoJo known as calamity and thus couldn't be stopped by the arm. From there the only question is if Touma speed blitzes regardless.

The Jojo battle I want most is either DIO vs Alucard or Jonathan vs Tanjiro.
DIO vs Alucard would attract way too much salt. People would bring up Alucard’s regeneration if DIO wins,but if Alucard wins,they’ll say DIO would keep on killing Alucard until Alucard uses level 0,and then kill him once and for all when he reaches level 0. The JoJo battle I want most personally is a Joe Star battle royale or a JoJo villain battle royale.

And for Johnny,I’m not sure since in order to get Act 4,he needs to learn the final act/lesson of spin,but they’ll probably have him know spin entirely,but then again,his other 3 acts will only have him get through Jonathan,Joseph,Josuke,and maybe Jolyne at MOST,so depends if Johnny can still hang in there,and Gappy has shown to do some crazy stuff which can POSSIBLY get him through Jotaro and can steal Giorno’s eye sight or bones,and it depends if Golden Experience Requiem can still reset time stop to nothing,but in order for him to do that,it has to be an attack coming directly at Giorno or the stand,we also don’t know whether it can only use its ability on physical attacks. And for the villain royale,it really depends if they’re gonna give Pucci C Moon or if they consider the green child outside help or not. Kars is a god and the ultimate life form and arguably immortal,and of course,the villains have no way of getting past Valentine’s Love Train. And DIO still has his vampire powers,so he could stop time and freeze Pucci (unless he can move in stopped time) and Valentine,or shoot lasers at their brain. It’s a lot closer than it seems.

How if it's the reverse ? If we use New Testament or Genesis Testament Touma , his feats are much better
Insane reflex that allows him to avoid a lightspeed projectile or even better , arrows that fucks with concept of numbers , survived getting Diavolo'd , slamming a whole continent on an archangel and punched them afterwards , etc.
But knowing DB's , they probably use Genesis Testament Touma which his feat plus NT and OT ones is quite excellent.
