One of my favorite species to target. Seems everytime I catch one I want to throw all other species out the window and jig some more. I love how the colors change depending on where you're at on the globe.
I love crappie fishing. They are great to eat and there is just something cool about bringing in a mess of those speckled beauties! Hope you get the chance to catch a mess.

I don't get to fish for either rockies or crappie often but they are a blast. Rockies fight like ally cats on catnip. Pure crazy.

There are plenty of spots along lake Howard. Let me see if my buddy knows any hot spots.
