We only have the KTM300EXC in Australia, so I'd have no valid comment, but with its 3 power-valve spring options you can have whatever bottom-end you like with the Kato. I've written reviews on both the entire KTM and Husky enduro range so check the website if you'd like to make your own comparisons.
I just bought a 2010 TE250, I'm picking it up on Sunday. I am upgrading from a 1986 CR250R. A pretty big jump for me. The bike has a power up kit and ECM injection kit. It goes a little faster than the pig.
Until you ride them back to back against the stop-watch, you can only speculate. The Husky feels so lite and fast in every way, and puts all of its power to the ground. I've ridden the new YZ250F on a different day, in different conditions and I suspect the Yamaha has more pull into the mid-range. Put it this way though, if someone of my exact ability was on the Husky and I was on the YZ-F, I don't think I'd be able to out-run them anywhere.
do you feel like the tc250 can compete head to head with the japanese! compete with them or even beat them?? do you feel like the engine lack of power comparing them with honda or yamaha??
+scratch1232 Well considering Husqvarna had the CR125 becfore Honda did, it's a good question, study before you just assume that Husqvarna don't make a CR....
LOl im looking myself, havnet found anything of great yet. Could try the FaceBook groups, they may have ideas, either way i think we in Aus have to shop international.
There is something I dont like about these bikes, specially the ones with 4 strokes engines, and it is their exhaust pipe, it is like right between the rear tire and the rear fender, it doesnt match with the motorcicle. The husqvarna engineers should encrease these pipes angle in order to get it closer to the rear fender so the bike look much better & agressive
I miss this bikes a lot 😢
thanks for the tip men! good look out there!
Thanks for the feedback dfa.

Halls Cycles in Springfield, Illinois. USA
Where is this?
wow great vidéo
I plan on getting one of those - nice bike.
There is obviously no demand for them in Oz as they don't import them.
Too bad the 2010 TC250 doesn't want to start when hot...
