Congrats dude! i play this game when i'm 7 years old, took me 2 years to complete, 1 year stock on whitehouse (having restrictions of less than 1h per day to play games, and being horrible at too) So seeing someone speeding at 33:38 is insane, congrats.
It's stuck, not stock and yes it was an interesting title ... I am glad that you enjoyed (I never owned or experienced Apocalypse when I was a kid/teen because there were too many other titles and school work took precedent over tv-time/video-games) !
Great speedrun man ! I remember this game very well, played it when i was about 8-9 years old... Told my mom to buy me some game and she bought me apocalypse from the game store, was mad at her because i thought it was thrash game... oh boy i was wrong...
This game had a great soundtrack, some awesome FMVs during game play, and effects that made you turn your head. We will fight the heathens! We will fight the HEATHENSSSSSS!
This game is the reason I said “Bastard” as a child in the back seat of my parents car otw to karate..I’ll never forget the look and reaction my father gave me 🤣 one of my favorite childhood memories..and for that, I love this game
man, as a kid i got stuck multiple times in this game. first in the last few areas in Rooftop, on the catwalks, right before the small platforms that you had to jump before they exploded and made you fall. then in the last area in Graveyard, had no idea how to go through that metal door. then in the big foundry-like area in War Factory, those jumps had to be really perfect otherwise i'd fall. and then reached the checkpoint in front of the White House with low health, so going through those walls was hard AF
this was the best game. Blended the lines between T and M and was just so unique for the time. Celebs in games were always bad too, and this one was awesome w Bruce Willis in his prime. Always really liked this one, though it seems like a cult classic not too many people have even heard about. Taking enemies heads and upper bodies off, swearing, sexually suggestive cutscenes and outfits? This should have been M but I'm so glad it was T. It was whack AF to have parents like that back in the day. Nowdays I would kinda understand it since the violence is so much more lifelike.
At 8:37 you ignore the secret pathway to some guns, extra life and health, I think you would save some time there too. I leads directly through a room and cuts through the circled path. Cheers!
@@SRGTsilent Sadly no, but when you walk the pathway at the 8:36-8:37 straight through the building you will get there.Basically where that blue light cube is. Hope this helps describing it.
is it that you don't know about the secret area in city or does it not save time? i have a hard time believing that going thru it is slower than going the normal ways.
