This is for the first time since me and my wife started exploring the UK pathway,that i have seen such a video,dealing with such a matter,fully.The reason is the presenter,she was kind,considerate,very elaborative,and understood the intellectual and also emotional needs of the prospective future IMGs.This video has already addressed many of our concerns,but they have given rise to new ones also,which i hope,will either be addressed in future,or maybe had already been done in other such videos on this channel. 1) No.
2) PLAB is needed, but not a license.

I have read your blog that I should have 1 year of internship so that I can get full GMC registration
So my question is that can I take PLAB 1 and 2 while I'm still doing the first year of my internship
Or I have to finish (My internship) then start taking PLAB?
(Especially for PLAB 2)
You can take PLAB during your internship, but it's best to take PLAB 2 after internship so that you don't create a gap.
can one take mrcp1 and mrcp2, then take plab 1,plab2,,and gmc registration and do paces when they enter IMT?
If you wish to, but it would come at a great cost.

Hello,really great video ! I have a question. In my country there is no internship. We only study 6 years and after that 4-5 years of residency. What should i do in this case ? I should finish residency in my country and after that apply for UKMLA ?

If someone have UK visa nd PR card(but not UK national right now ) then how many chances are there for a Foundation year 1 slot after graduation (from Pakistan) without internship from home country
If you have a right to work in the UK, there are chances. But no one say for sure what are the chances or you will get in for sure.
Getting educated in abroad and starting seeing your first patient in the UK may make you go through a steep learning curve which you weren’t prepared for.
I always suggest to have their internship finished and then apply for GMC registration. Your learning path is more easier and established then.
Does ukmla consist of same syllabus as of plab?? Should we prepare the same way as we do for plab?? Will it be of same difficulty as of plab??

With UKMLA rolling out in 2024. I have one chance for PLAB in early 2023 (that's when I graduate and start internship ). Can I take PLAB during my house job (internship back home)? And apply for GMC in 2024 when my internship ends. Can't find any answers. Thanks.

Hello ma'am, I am a 3rd year medical student in RUSSIA and I don't know whether I will get an internship included in my degree or not ,but I don't want to waste my years, can I apply for plab and FY1 after that.

Basic question.
Does it mean internship in India (1 year after 4 years of MBBS) is equal to FY1 at UK.
If so, does it then mean after Plab1 and 2 I enter at level FY2 at UK.
Then I get Competency Certificate at FY2
and the register with GMC.
In brief, I start at FY 2 at UK after India MBBS 4 years + India 1 year internship + Plab 1 + Plab 2. Please confirm.

That is one route, yes. But you don't have to take an FY2 level job. You could also apply for CT1 level.

I have recently joined my internship, I want to complete my plab 1&2 during my internship. Is it possible ?? Why because most of my friends told me that "If u complete plan 2 in internship , during visa they will ask , why did u took break during internship?" Is it true?
By taking PLAB 2 during your internship, it would be an unnecessary break unless you could manage the exam within your allocated annual leave/vacation.

No, if you meet the criteria, you can apply for a training job.
Is it true that UK goverment abolish ielts ukvi for tier 2 visa
It's not abolished. UKVI is still accepted, but from October 1 2019, if you used academic IELTS or OET to get your GMC registration it can be used for your Tier 2 visa application.

I am from Pakistan and i am supposed to graduate at December 28 From China but due to Covid-19 our Degree will be sent to us by Currier, so do you have any idea that will it be accepted or not as there be No Entry/Exit in my passport?

COVID is something that has created a lot.of unknowns but it isn't unreasonable for GMC to understand this.

Unfortunately UKFPO as yet does not accept OET.

No. The PLAB 1 passing mark is determined by the distribution curve. If everyone does well the passing score goes up, if everyone does bad, the passing score goes down.
Out of 180, you can't even safely say you will pass if you score 130. It all depends on the examinees.

If the name of my university does not appear or it says no records found it means I can’t give plab ?
You can, you will just need to provide the information for it to be registered.

Internship at home is equivalent to FY1 in the UK.
So I have to do fy2 and if I did I have to pay or Its considering like a training
You can apply for FY2/SHO/CT1 posts and then get your FY2 competencies signed off while working. You will be paid.

Hey! Is it compulsory for a international medial graduate to do FYI 1 & 2 if we have done 1 year internship from our coutry and cleared both the Plab examination.

Hello, you can enter into medical training if you meet the person specifications, or you can applying for non training FY2/CT1/SHO/Trust grade posts initially and then apply for training.

No, you can't. You need to be a medical gradaute before you can take PLAB 1.
But for plab 1 required document is only english proficiency certificate ? Then y we can't
You will later need to provide your documents and GMC will ask about your graduation date when you setup your GMC account in order to book PLAB 1.
