- Brazil is already the world's leading producer of cane sugar, and as the demand for biofuels increases, the country has dedicated more land to agriculture. But a large portion of the biomass derived from sugar cane cultivation is not used in the ethanol production process - and burning the leftovers is harmful to the environment. Now, German and Brazilian researchers have developed a technology to recycle agricultural waste into plastic.
Not plastic from sugar cane. They are making a good job, but the channel could be honest and give on the title only the real information.
I thought they were going to make PLA. This was a disappointment. I don’t care about composites if you’re still using petrochemicals.
Not to mention composite materials are much harder and expensive to recycle.
Mainul Hassan Give me your contact number
Mainul Hassan I want your damn contact number if what you say is real...
@Mainul Hassan that's water hyacinth, right? We've successfully used the same in our school labs to make plastics
And it's cheaper than petro poly
This is Amazing!!!
Min 3:17 ¿que tipo de plastico o material se le mezcla?. Muchas gracias
Could 'bagasse' be combined with polylactic acid(corn startch) plastics?
thanks send more information
Thank you Germany
It's good for envoiromet?
name the plastic material being use in this video
:3 very insightful
is this product patented?
It still uses plastic! So what’s the point?!?
Dude, the bagasse is valuable. You should definitely think about selling that too. Like just grab the bagasse and put it in a plastic bag and sell it.
3:17 min type of plastic that is mixed or materials ?. Thank you very much
polypropylene or high Density polyethylene probably
How about sugar cane toilette paper a green alternative .
Good idea
This is a silly idea. It's only using it as a filler which almost any other material can do.
We use it to make Pulp in stanger south africa
lost me at we burn it here smh but at 3:45 this became misleading
Why not a green alternative, please. We are just exhaust edge with all the wasted you have created with your careless industrial business
This is a disaster.
