I used to fish indicators on every occasion. Nymphing ofcourse, but also while streamering. With streamers I think was possibly the most stupid thing I ever did.
Two seasons ago I stopped using indicators (ofcourse the typical indicators for Čech or French nymphing I do use).
And now I just catch more fish, and that simply is because the presentation without a indicator is much much better. Specially the surfacedrag has no more influence on the presentation. Now I have everything much better under control which means more fish.

Thanks for commenting, Robin. We couldn't agree more. You certainly have much more control over your nymphs and have far less unseen drag when using various tight-line and euro techniques. Clear Thingamabobber for the win. Airlocks and Oros hit the water too hard, and airlocks have additional parts that get lost. Someone needs to make a thingamabobber with the oros locking system, that would be the best indicator on the market.
