I feel like I'm one of the drastically small group of people who ever play the *actual* cards in any archetype, rather than shoving in some random engine.
Even with the ability to search Maxx c, I think playing it at 2 would be wise. You still want to open it going second, you may want to search a second copy In duels longer than 3 turns, you may want to crossout your opponents Maxx c, there's a lot of reasons to still keep 2 in the deck
It's probably better to play 3 if you have the space, not only is it freaking maxx c, an amazing handtrap, but being an insect means it's not only searchable, it can be an extender in itself so you can jumpstart your plays by normal summoning it, and drawing it instead of searching it is not actually great because you get to search another insect to combo even more.

That would mean you have a high chance of playing the card and draw one of your 15 bad garnets. Many people experimented with Beetroopers when they came out and a build with all these other generic insect cards was the best build out of all of them. So when you hear people talking about a Beetrooper deck they talk about this build. Pure Beetrooper isn't really possible or it is but it sucks because the second support wave for Beetroopers was extremely awful. If that wave had been better pure Beetrooper wouldn't be that bad. But even if it was you would still play cards like Resonance Insect and other Insect Extenders like the Battlewasps because they really help to achieve your gameplan in spamming insects to the board to make your Links and because they give you more disruptions.
I personally prefer the pure insect version, seeing Adventure cards, Verte and DPE in that first board made my brain hurt lol i know it can "help" the deck a lot but it just feels so boring to just use it as yet another engine for generic boss monsters

I’ve been testing the deck in deck building and the pure version is super fun, but not high tier. Not worth the CP if you’re budgeting for Albaz. You’d definitely have fun tho if you just want to a challenge deck Also I’m not running Adventure/DPE. It’s a insect deck for Christ sake.

Ok being able to search Maxx c is great but I'ma be honest I play flowandereeze and it's simply so I don't have to worry about Maxx c and also cus I love the deck now naturally not everyone is gonna play flowandereeze just for that it's actually good if up against any other deck tho

Does anyone know why every beetrooper deck i seen runs 2 nibs? I'm really curious because most decks that even use nib in this meta run 1 and thats just to draw into from max c
@@benhwa101 absolutely unplayable? We saw that it's very easy to have 4 monsters between field and hand with this deck. And I repeat, it's an uafected buy destruction and you can summon every insect monster from grave so it helps you to spam negate trap, have more monsters on the field to link summon, etc. And it has 4000 atk.

It's not boring when there is money on the line, and he manage to won the tournament so yeah definitely worth it not to shot your own legs for fun.
