This video is your masterpiece, that brings northern nature and living into our hearts. I'm just back from 2 weeks skiing in Norway, but I can't stop dreaming from being in the north.

Norway looks like a nature lovers paradise. Surrounded by fields, streams, lakes, mountains and woods. Sounds like heaven.
It is, and the people are the best. Everyone should go, spend time there
Nature and landscape yes, wildlife, not so much. Some 100 wolves (half "shared" with Sweden, and they shoot 30-50% every year), 140 bears, 400 lynx. Extremely low tolerance against predators, because farmers and hunters want to let their dogs, reindeer and sheep roam free without being hurt (same in Sweden and Finland, but Norway is the most extreme, and the only of the three that let sheep roam wild in summer).
To compare, similarly sized US states (with higher human populations!) have 12 000 - 15 000 bears each.
Hate to drag you uncensorously into the common light of day, but there is no perfect place.
@@drewtube5031 No one said there is. But it's a heck of a lot closer to it than the U.S. and many other countries. I lived there for years, and can say that without a doubt.
@@Aethuviel Well that's nature's way. Wild animals cannot be allowed to overpopulate. That's also why so many species are hunted, including deer. Another example is the Florida everglades. Boa Constrictors have multiplied out of control, to the point hunters are paid to kill them. Scandinavian countries are individually small, so it makes sense not to allow predators to gain the upper hand. I don't like hunting, won't do it; however, it's very clear to me why it has to be done.
That end, starting with the Aurora and concluding with the wild birds, is unforgettable. Pure artistry with poetry flowing through its veins.
That whimsical "journey" made my day...My grand mother Was raised in Tromso area...her stories always made my day as her grand child...😊
I often think that Mother Nature doesn't seem to let herself get caught fully on our modern technology, that the real thing is just too magical. But here I am, with goosebumps and teary eyes, staring at the magic you have captured. Thank you so much for sharing the northern lights with so many of us who are too far away from them. Do either of you know what that bird at the end is called? I cannot imagine that birds of any kind would be able to find food in such cold snowy weather!
@Sherri Surely when Adam and Eve had named all the birds of their time they had no idea there would be more centuries later that mankind still names . . .😅 Or perhaps they figured that there would be more species later on and thought it natural that as mankind finds them we name them.
@theQuietRebel Do you believe that it is mother nature that giives each phenomenon and animals in nature their names and then reveals those names to us or is it that we humans that name the phenomenon and animals that we see in nature and that Mother Nature doesn't mind either way?
I sincerely seek to understand both perspectives. 😌

What strikes me about your videos is that they are so beautifully cut throughout, even in the smallest and most “candid” moments. Some better known Nordic filmmakers who are also now “award winning” don’t have anything like that level of consistency. You present every scene so beautifully. Every 👏🏻 single 👏🏻 scene 👏🏻
Congratulations on your very scenic video. I have travelled in your area on my way to Finnmark for the last two summers. You have just seen the start of the beauty. Like you I also use drones, a dashcam and two other cameras. Just love it. My diesel heater also needed service a week ago, but my computer's crank along 🤓. This summer I drove to Vardø and Hamningberg, a most beautiful deserted fishing village. Had seen pictures of it 40 years ago and just decided it was time to go. 6500 km up and down with a small but comfortable caravan. Good luck to you and happy new year.

The northern lights are so ethereal and otherworldly. I spent a week’s holiday in the Arctic circle in northern Finland and the northern lights showed every evening. However, I never got to see them as each time I went outside after they had been spotted, they had already disappeared. If I hadn’t seen them on my companions’ cameras I would not have believed it! The film footage you were able to capture is absolutely breathtaking 💜 I’m sure you will get many more sightings where you are living now and I wish you both very happy times in your lovely new home - you live in such a beautiful place.
