What a wonderful presentation. Being raised Catholic (not anymore) it's nice to see a church who welcomes everyone and excludes nobody. ❤ That's what it means to be a Christian.
This episode really wows me. I can see there is so much for me to learn about Baltimore and its people and residents. As a deaf individual, I want to express my deepest thanks to both Johns and Emily for speaking clearly enough that the closed captioning feature of the video works. I have learned so much from both of you. Emily, your church is stunning, and I will visit some day.
My husand was born and raised in Baltimore Maryland. He was born at the old Johns Hopkins hospital. He lived in Baltimore until he went into the military in 1974. He would like to see history about the Harlees Sandwich Shops, Lexington and Belaire Market.
Great...thanks again. Which reminds me to suggest a couple other old and beautiful churches: Grace & St. Peter's on Park Avenue at Monument Street and St. John's in the Village on Greenmount Avenue. Both remain functioning though struggling congregations with dedicated members and gorgeous buildings to maintain. Also, have you done the Methodist church across the circle from the Washington Monument in Mount Vernon? Perhaps churches could be your Lenten theme, with Lent beginning this year on March 2.
Stunning!!!!! The sanctuary is amazing and, as a fellow member of the ELCA and welcoming congregation in Sacramento, CA, I'm so happy to learn that St. Mark's is a vibrant, diverse, and community-oriented congregation. Thanks Johns & BH!

Thank for sharing your church. It’s strikingly majestic.
I came to this church for a choir performance recently and am happy to see it on here 😊

Been going to St Marks my entire life - it’s truly an amazing building!
