    Hurts the arches of my feet just looking at those heights, never could do heights, hats off to those brave guys doing that job....

    The boys that work on these masts deserve WAY more money and recognition than they get! I’m happy enough at the bottom on the switchgear and power

    That winch/cage thing looks absolutely terrifying! Wouldn't get in that thing for a million quid! Those guys must either be totally daft of have balls of absolute steel!

    I find this stuff deeply interesting and had a few thoughts which I was hoping some more educated people here could answer. Is it correct that the radio/comms towers in the UK (concrete/steel lattice or otherwise) are actually build with the height in mind, purpose-built on certain land (not random) in order for a line-of-sight continuation? It intrigues me how much thought and planning goes into this...

    bilsdale aerial set on fire suposedly with lightening strike or was it lack of maintenance bet they were glad they didnt maintain it

      Arquiva are liable for the fire and now they are trying to cover it up by blowing the mast up
