Cool experimentation showing how simple things can be made in many styles. Rooting for you Tim. Hope the move works itself out and you get back into a shop soon.
Can’t wait to see the new workshop in all its glory. Love seeing people fulfilling their passion thru the expertise of their craft. Keep pushing forward Tim!
I really like the simple ones, but the "squeeze the bottle to open" one is a really cool idea. I would love to see a short or something where you show how it works after some tweaks to get the correct amount of throw.
It's good to see someone who is well established in the TH-cam blacksmith realm go back and showcase bottle openers. By the way I prefer both of the cable bottle openers.
My #1 priority in a bottle opener is that it leaves as little damage to the cap as possible. It's a big part of what I liked about your first design and why I bought a couple of them. The ones you've put up for sale now don't seem as likely to do this as well but it'd be nice if that was shown a bit. I just like collecting bottle caps I guess :)
There's one I recieved as a gift a number of years ago - it's a board with a nail in it! It's a piece of reclaimed hickory with a forged nail, not like the cheap pine 2×4 with a 16d nail one's. It works beautifully and doesn't damage the caps.
The moon and the paperclip are probably the contest looking. That shoehorn looking one is badass too with a little tweaking. But I'm gonna side with you. Classic is always preferred.
The super chunky 3 part round palm fittin one, the chunky paperclip, and your fav were top 3 for me. All of them were clever ideas, some would no doubt work very well with very minor tweaking.
Nice video Tim! super cool to see you doing some chill hand forging, your talent as an artist and craftsman really shines! Love your work man, keep it up!
Timothy, you are a mad bottle opener scientist! I love these! Great video man! Oh and my fav is the circle with the projections in the middle. That thing is great! But all of them, even the ones that didn't work are works of art to me!
Any chance I could get a couple of the shank and a couple of the blacksmith but (dull) sharpen the opposite end of the opener so it could slide under the opener of a aluminum can beverage? Then the opener could open glass and aluminum cans as well!
I liked the large round bar forged into a ring with the three dog ears in the center! I like how substantial it is and how it fits in your palm. It's interesting enough to sit out on the counter or workbench when not in use... Have you considered an opener that is shaped like an axe?! Or a blacksmith hammer?
My favorite is the one where you put it on the bottle and just grab the bottle to open it would be awesome if you can tweak it and make it work I'd buy it
That was a great experiment. I was skeptical about a few. I love when you can tell what the original item or metal was like the cable ones and the rebar one that needed tweaking. Army SE Oregon
We haven't had a "SMASH that subscribe button!" in a while! I love these designs! They're all really cool! I like the paperclip I think it's kinda funny to have this extra large thing to hold sheets of steel or something together 😄 I love the circle with the Y thing. A lot of these pieces are just so beautiful even just as an art piece! The crescent one too! I honestly laughed at how effective the "grab your beer and it opens for you" piece was 😂 I honestly thought you were making a shoehorn at first! Don't give up on that one! It just needs some adjusting on the spacing for the hook. I love to see that you're still into your craft and you haven't given up! Even if you're not cranking out tons of axes you're still making beautiful works of art and awesome content! Keep it up!
Stopped at 8:56 befor you tried the different openers - if I've counted correctly, you've used nine different (perfectly fine) bottle openers to make some more ;-) (counting rebar and cable only once) and your openers are much more sophisticated and nicer to watch and use than the original ones great work, I couldn't do it - I would have used the base materials ;-)
bro make a black smithing app for sleep sounds it's very relaxing hearing scorching hot metal vs almost cooled down metal, different strength metals different cook times
Hey Tim Amazing resourcefulness, just worried that the move has caused you drink 12 bottles at the same time! I think I like your second favourite the best.
Uh, Tim I just finished the video, please just make the bolt bottle opener, it might not be as cool as some of the other ones but it's still pretty dang cool. (lil sad to see you in the sun, I know how much harder that must be)
I've been trying to watch this video for a couple of days now, and for some reason, it just won't load. Cleared cache and everything. It's the only video I've clicked on in my subscriptions and from the main page that doesn't load for some reason. Just thought I'd let you know something may be up? but I don't know for sure.

Nice work, I love how you just use whatever old junk you can find.
The rebar knot just looks cool but the super simple cable one is my favorite.
It's good to see someone who is well established in the TH-cam blacksmith realm go back and showcase bottle openers. By the way I prefer both of the cable bottle openers.
Love it. The bolt is definitely my favourite!
That was cool. Didn’t know you could design so many. I like your favorite bottle opener as well 👍🙂
Love the paperclip and the knot.
I liked the papirclip opener and the last round one best, but found all to be very interesting
An awesome idea. That crescent one is probably my favorite across the set.
The big ol donut was amazing. The bolt was my favorite though.
I really like that short little cable one. Small and simple.
Super fun video, love the rebar knot and the 3 dimple donut best!
Bolt, Moon and Loop are my 3 favorites.
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Nice job Tim 👍🏻 I like the grab the bottle one, just a little tweak out on the handle and I reckon it'll be gr8 🍻😎👍
I know its a ``Filler Episode´´ but it was very entertaining! Keep it up Tim
I'd keychain-carry the paper clip or the loop, I'd also like to see you add or see how these work on cans
I like the bolt, bloody great design, gonna have to make one,👍
Love the simple bolt one!
I like the first cable one and the last one. The bolt is my 3rd favorite.
The cable one is really cool!

I liked the big round one with the three punch marks in it. Looked like it worked really well, too.
The grenade spoon with a little tweaking is a cool idea!
YES! He's back with more content. Appreciate your content and work brother.... so relaxing to watch. Always a joy to watch your vids.
The moon and the paperclip are probably the contest looking. That shoehorn looking one is badass too with a little tweaking. But I'm gonna side with you. Classic is always preferred.
I love how the "Moon" opener looks
I dig “the loop”
Good look to it and it looks easy to use
Cool idea, and if up to me the moon opener gets my vote as the best.
love the video as always. I like the paper clip and the knot!
Love watching it Tim!

I would like to see the shoehorn style after its tweaked. Great job on all of them!

Wauw, very cool challenge! I like the ring shaped, the lever/grab type and the last classic one from round bar. Well done!
Well done! Love making bottle openers!
Great Video! Keep em coming!
The loop was my favoritt design 😊
Those are all cool bottle openers except for the solid around one 😜
My favorite was the grenade spoon bottle opener.i think it'd worth more R&D
Any chance I could get a couple of the shank and a couple of the blacksmith but (dull) sharpen the opposite end of the opener so it could slide under the opener of a aluminum can beverage? Then the opener could open glass and aluminum cans as well!
Forgive my ignorance, what is the stuff you are melting onto the pieces? I assume some kind of oil?
It’s just bees wax. When melted on hot it creates a protective covering to keep the steel from rusting!
I really want to see that grab the bottle one work, and I’d buy the paper clip one for certain

Great to see all the designs. What was the brownish thing you rubbed on some of them?

I like the bottle opener disguised as a giant paperclip.
I want the bottle squeezer one that one is my favorite although it does need to have slightly less angle in order to work properly but I love thatone
Very cool video, I enjoyed it very mucho !
The paperclip is soo cool
Great work as usuall Timmy
Lots of ideas 😃
I would definitely buy the paper clip and the bottle grabber ones.
The moon one could be a hit. Lots of crescent moon stuff
I like the bolt bottle opener
Sounds like a blacksmith challenge!?!? Set some parameters and let the fun begin
I liked the forge welded ring with three notches
Came for the blacksmithing. Stayed for the socks
you should make more of these and sell them for some extra money.
cus i know i would buy one and im sure other people would too
Rework the grenade lever bottle opener. I like that one in cable instead of rebar.
⭐🙂👍 Way to go, Tim!
I think the disk needs more of a hook on the bottom.
How's the move going Eh?

I like paperclip bottle opener ) 👍👍
6:00 impressive 👌

I loved the paper clip it was one I thought that I would like to make
Very nice video 😊

BTW the loop was my favorite
Id buy the knot one or the bolt one tim
Wonder if you can make a tachical whip bottle opener.
Try the 1st one that didnt work but use it the other way
Man I was hoping to get the bolt but I bought “your favorite” before you said it was your favorite lol.
I admit, I have some inside information, but... coming in the future there might be some really cool layered stuff coming. If the stars align!
Hey Tim
Amazing resourcefulness, just worried that the move has caused you drink 12 bottles at the same time!
I think I like your second favourite the best.
I always use the edge of a table
The moon knight one is the best
Cool Stuff, but as a Male German: Everything with a stable and rigged edge is a bottle opener, even another bottle can be an opener.
tim its been a few years now , hows the titanium hammer holding up and whats the damage on it .
Nice viedo and i have a question. When do the hammer come back in the shop? Im loking forward to buy 1
Glad to hear it. Another batch hopefully coming this fall!
I like the one designed as a bolt the best, where can I buy it?
Yes, of course you can.
Who drank all those in one sitting? Did they float afterwards?
Smashed the 👍👍👍
Uh, Tim I just finished the video, please just make the bolt bottle opener, it might not be as cool as some of the other ones but it's still pretty dang cool. (lil sad to see you in the sun, I know how much harder that must be)
I was wondering , did you drink all 12 bottles you opened . 🤣 How is the move going mate hope to see you in the new shop soon . Cheers . 🤠
What's that brownish thing you seem to be melting on some pieces?
keep forge lit.Forge On. god bless.
Uh, miss Martin much ? You needed a video right? Lol. Pretty cool. I like the bolt, it's simple
What are you doing outside?????
Forging in shorts Timothy?!
Is this at the new homestead?
👍
When do we get to find out where in the country you moved to?

Really! Thats not good! I am so sorry, not sure what I can do to help. :(
What is he smiring on the hot metal?
I see trusses in the background
I spoke to soon. more than trusses back there ha ha.
Sign me up for a paper clip or the loop that was around the same size and shape of the paper clip
Could you make a Damascus coffee mug. Try to forge as much as possible
Yeee
