Thanks so much! I am not a fan of tutorials that take forever to get to what you really want to know. I'm so glad there are others out there like that.
I think you guys should add sheeps and a new tool called siccores which can be used to harvest the wool from the sheep and 20 pieces of wool can be putted in a bag
You can completely leave them in a fenced in area. As long as the gates are closed, they won't wander off. It does make the eggs hard to see in the grass sometimes though, which is why I prefer the coop method.
Love your tutorials . Would you try another farming game just came out of EA. It's looks silly but it is so much more than that. At least look at it. Try the demo. It's called "A Farmers Life" it's so much fun. Farming, building, cooking, quest, forging and hunting and so much more. I would love to see you play it and or give tips and tricks.
I do Ranch Simulator tutorials because I am one of the moderators on the official Ranch Simulator discord. I still have a few tutorials to do for current content, but I've been on hiatus due to computer issues. I hope to be back up and running by Christmas.
Thanks for you tutorial, do you know if they will expand the limit of players to play cooperatively? there are 6 of us, but we can only play in 4 because of the limit. Pd: disculpa mi google traductor, espero que entiendas
I’m not sure if I missed it but what is the deal with the chicken poop? Do you have to pick it up? Do you benefit in any way from picking it up? What happens if you don’t pick it up?
Hi there! You can pick it up using the composter and it will convert to fertilizer that can be used in your greenhouse. If you don't pick it up with the composter, you can just remove it. It will disappear eventually if not picked up, but can get really messy if you have a lot of chickens in one space.
Can you tell me how you're making money raising chickens? I'm just starting out and I only have 15 chickens, but the amount I'm making from their eggs each day goes directly to buying them food. 5 chickens will earn you $30 a day from eggs, but they'll also eat one bag of food everyday that costs $30. I'm just spinning my wheels here trying to make any profit, and it doesn't seem to matter how many more chickens I add. Are unfertilized eggs just a waste of time, and should I just plan to breed chickens only for their meat?
Hi there! As explained in the video, you can use their eggs to add to other recipes, like meat and milk, to raise their price by $10 each. So a wheel of blue mold cheese is typically $165,but with an egg, it goes up to $175. That's the best way to make money off unfertilized eggs. To make money off the chickens themselves, I would recommend the cured chicken sausage (salami).
@@UllyriaRaeLeigh The problem is that I'm not at the point yet where I can afford cows to make cheese. It's like real life. It's really easy to make money when you already have some, but I can't seem to get to the point yet where I can afford to invest in anything that will make me any money. I guess I can keep grinding away selling planks to the hardware store until I can afford a meat grinder, a sausage stuffer and a few roosters so I can breed chickens and start earning enough to buy some bigger animals.
@@CarbonatedTurtle Have you tried doing quests from the NPCs around the valley? There is one quest that can give you $2500 to get you started producing. He is located in the house on the lake front, and the quest is called "Treasure of the Ancients". Hope that helps!
@@UllyriaRaeLeigh Oh, I didn't even know there were other NPCs giving quests! I guess I still have a shot at getting this ranch off the ground after all. Thanks for the tip!
The idea of using one of the medium coops specifically for chicks and fertilized eggs is a great idea, thank you for that!
I love your videos. Your commentary is perfectly prepared and you waste no time getting to the good stuff.

You're pretty awesome! I thought I liked this game, then I started watching your tutorials and now I might be addicted.

you mean scissors?
I use the chicken coop with the draws and i just put the big water and food feeders on the outside
Will chickens lay eggs only in coops, or can they lay anywhere? Could you leave them "free range" in a fenced off area and still get the eggs?

I'm sorry, I don't believe there is plans to expand the number of players at this time.

I hope they will add ducks in the future

@@CarbonatedTurtle You're very welcome! Next week's tutorial will be about quests and making money, so be sure to check it out!
