Great review, thank you. One small thing, though: could you please consider normalising volume levels between voice and music? I was watching this late at night and had to turn the volume all the way up to hear you, but when the music came in it was blasting enough for me to pull the sound down to 20% or so. Were I not on the edge of buying one of these and thus checking every review I ca find to be sure I might have been put off after the third or fourth time this happened.
Ho and thanks for sticking with the video. I am sorry my audio mix was poor., I intend to remove the music beds when talking going forward. I hope my video let you find the information you needed. Hello Peter, thanks for the very useful review of the Poluno plus. Is it just the US version that has the thumb throttle for eg, walking assist? Maybe the pedal assist 0 setting activates this facility? Maybe a bit heavy a bike without some sort of assistance for less able bodied guys. Thanks again best wishes Rod Brown
Hi Roderick I believe it comes on the us version as standard we don’t get it standard as it breaks uk laws. We do have the walk assist so that’s very helpful. The us model may also have a larger motor.
To activate walk mode you turn the pedal assist down to zero by pressing the - button, then with a further press and hold the walk mode is activated after a short delay. It works ok but the button needs quite a firm continuous pressure so not as easy as a throttle.
As far as I can tell, outside of the U.S., the throttle connection is on the wiring harness where the head unit plugs in - but you have to order the throttle separately and install it yourself. I think the EU version is a 250 watt Bafang motor - U.S. version is 500W. I thought that only the U.S. model had the fugly HarleyDavidsonWheelbarrow bars - but apparently the nice flat "European" bars are replaced in other markets, too.
@47f0 Having ridden the bikes with both bars I think curved ones are more comfortable as you are not as stretched out. Flat bars are cheap and plentiful if you prefer and to swap over you would have no problem with cable length either.
Hi and thanks for watching. These new batteries with the higher rating go a lot further. You will get between 40 and 60 miles depending on your weight road conditions and weather. Also which power assist you are in as 5 is the best and gives so much assistance is a joy to ride. Even in the level 5 with lots of hills you will get over 40 miles it's a real comfortable fun ebike to ride. Great for commuters or fun cyclists.

Have you considered fitting a bottle holder?
Hi Mike, on my 2022 polluno I had a water bottle but I kept kicking it getting on and off. Probably just me as I’m short as they are handy.

No extra wire from the controller on the UK version. I wish it did I love the throttle option.
