Well this here now is a strategy you can almost bet your life on. Great solution to the 1st level of cabin. L:ooking forward to see what you come up with for the lower floor.
Lol, cheers. Lower level will be more of a challenge! I have got better at knocking the haunted completely out of bounds, which allows me to move around upstairs and I got the other barrel downstairs once but it despawned when the first haunted arrived! Not sure what I was going to do with it... probably build a barrel fort for me and Joseph to hide behind 😁
Thanks! Now I have time on my hands upstairs I am starting to wonder if I can plant explosive bolts to help thin out the herd with the next room... probably not, but something I may explore.
Quick update: You can do this using a flash bolt (fire at left window, when haunted are first visible, while standing at right window.) With no upgrades the timing is tight but you do save the equivalent to 2 parts.
I've added a video showing how to do this without the shock bolt: th-cam.com/video/Qta5wukofnY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MJi1Se8kYvsKIroD

Very tight 😋 I've find it hard to constantly repeat
