Welcome back to China.Your previous trips showed kindness and respect to the people of China, which we cherish very much. I wish you get the friendship and blessings of the people of China no matter where you are in China.❤
After listening to your enthusiastic introduction and watching the Chinese people living peacefully and happily, I can't help but ask: Why are there so many lies, arrogance, deception and war in our world? What we ordinary people want is a safe and happy life. If politicians can't give us these, then get out!
Exactly, this is a result of great power competition (China and American with its strategic partner). Politicians need to control the media to manipulate people’s perceptions. That’s also one of the reasons they want to ban TikTok in USA in the name of threatening national security.
If the general public in the west found out the truth about China there’s a risk they begin to question whether the existing western order is truly the best? And that’s very dangerous.
One of the reasons why you both are so successful in your travels is that you express Joy in real time. People all over this world see this in you both. And they respond back in Joy and kindness and in love. So admire your travels☺♥☺♥
Guangzhou is the city I visit the most in China, I always went to the Guangzhou fair when I was still doing import business. I usually go there at least once in two months, but even though I visit the city very often I always see some new development: a new subway line, more extensions to the Pazhou part of the Guangzhou fair every single visit, and even new and better shops near the usual hotel that I stayed, etc, cranes everywhere, it's crazy!
Agree. Everyday tons of developments going and if you come back 2-3 months later the whole place is different. My uncle have a garment factory there and furniture factory in Foshan not far away. I sometimes drive there from Macau to GZ or Foshan to visit his businesses.
Welcome to our country, again! Wish you have fun, again! We welcome unbiased people like you guys from all over the world to visit our amazing home, and share our amazing culture
I went to china on a temporary assignment in 2011 and ended up living there for 7 years. I married a beautiful Chinese lady and we have a small residence there. I still go back every year and visit my wife’s family. Your videos are heartwarming. I wish every westerner could watch and enjoy. 😊
was in Guangzhou in June 2024. Love the beautiful flowers along most streets and highways. For a big city, there are green trees everywhere. There are so many clean beautiful parks as well. So much to see and do there. We stayed at Conrad Hotel. I can't wait to go back.
Great stuff! I lived in China (Beijing and Shanghai) for four years total and I never made it to Guangzhou, but it looks like a beautiful city. I agree with you, about spending time in more local markets and area. This is where you see the real part of the city. I look forward to more of your videos from China. Suzhou and X'ian are great places to see if you haven't already!! Oh I just heard you say X'ian, don't miss out on Muslim Street and the Teracotta Warriors.
Great news! Shev and Dev did such a great job during their stay in China couple of months ago. I was a bit disappointed when they left. TBH I stopped watching them because my focus is China and I have just so much time to follow travel channels, so I watch only travel channels who are exploring China. But now they are back, I'm 100% going to watch this new fase in the country. Besides being an adorable couple, their work showing China is so good. I'm happy to see them back. Let's face it, China is by far the most interesting country nowadays.
I‘m from Guangzhou. I welcome you to visit Guangzhou when the weather is hottest. The best time to visit Guangzhou is actually from November to May, with an average temperature of 15 degrees, which is very pleasant.
By the way, I truly appreciate your visit to those urban villages. Originally rural settlements, these areas have been engulfed by expanding urban zones over the past four decades of rapid urbanization. The rent is significant lower in these areas, coupled with their proximity to the CBD. This combination makes them ideal for newcomers to the city, providing affordable accommodation as they establish themselves. As these residents progress in their careers and financial situations improve, they often move on to other parts of the city.

The West advocates freedom of the press, but the fact is that most Westerners just live in the information cocoon woven by the Western media, and have a serious lack of understanding of countries outside the West. The Western media instill a lot of misinformation about China into Westerners, and Westerners believe it without any doubt, which surprises the Chinese people.
This is so engaging and professionally produced. It sets a really high bar for other travel content I think. And, your enthusiasm for travel and meeting people is so infectious.
Welcome the lovely couple back to China.I wish you a pleasant experience in China.❤In addition, it is very hot in southeast China in summer, so please pay attention to heatstroke prevention and keep healthy. ❤I wish all the best.
China claims self-governed Taiwan as part of its territory - but the island sees itself as distinct. The Republic of China (ROC) is a sovereign state. Taiwan has never been part of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) attempts to threatened Taiwan and regional security with the use of force in the international arena would never be accepted.
There is also the southern Tibetan region. In fact, most of the current international maps are inaccurate. This is a manifestation of the Western media, which is good at lying, secretly supporting separatist groups abroad in order to prevent China's development. One of the necessary conditions for establishing diplomatic relations with China is to recognize one China, and now, most Western media have begun to shamelessly double standards and betrayal.
I am from Guangzhou. I mean you are the most emotionally stable and positive travellers that I have ever seen. Welcome to come back to China, and also welcome you to visit Guangzhou's urban villages, which are the product of rapid urbanization and expansion. Guangzhou plans to demolish all urban villages in the next 10-20 years and build new residential and commercial centers at the original location.
