Not sure if you’ll read this Matto, but fast travel is unlocked through a camp upgrade in the ledger. You have to upgrade Dutch’s tent and then the next upgrade is fast travel.
This game is made so you enjoy it most when you are taking your time through it. So when I first played the game I never fast traveled ,as when you fast travel you miss all the cool encounters and side missions you can get. Though I know it's hard to do a playthrough and take your time through a game. Though most of the complaints you have of the game are hinged around a hasty first playthrough, that's not how most players approach it. Thanks for the fun playthrough tho.

It’s red dead redemption, what I think is supposed to happen is Arthur finds out he’s sick and he redeems himself from all his bad throughout the story until that point. By the time you get sick Arthur knows his road will end soon and he has more opportunities to redeem himself. Just a suggestion tho. Makes the story a little better

23:09 actually I wrote a paper on mining towns and the Pinkerton’s and they were actually god awful. Mining towns were basically slave camps until the mines ran dry basically like working at Chuck E. Cheese and being paid in tokens $.70 on the dollar having to buy everything you need from the them at a ridiculous markup and then then charging a ridiculous price to leave via train so that once you accepted the free ride to go to the mining town, you could never afford to leave because the areas where they set up mining town were so far away from cities or port that you would never survive the journey and when the town closed, it caused a lot of people to die, I can’t remember exactly with the Pinkerton because I wrote it along time ago but I believe they got abolish because of the rising stability of a police force and they hung a family on accident in the east and then the final nail was they completely screwed up stopping a riot/revolt in a pencil factory. Kind of ironic how the Pinkerton were pushed out west like the red, dead redemption gang
