I've lived with cars like this. The trans fluid is being sucked into the engine through the blown vacuum modulator diaphragm. A trans that won't go right away when it's cold is just about used up. 😁
I was getting ready to write this exact statement Terry. Yep the Turbo350 has a vacuum diaphragm on the right side of the case. When the bellows deteriorates ATF will leak past the seal get sucked into the carb or the intake manifold thru the vacuum hose

Fun fact, in Randy's video of it, I drove past the harbor freight in Utica they were at as randy was filming the trunk clip outside of the store. I'd have stopped but I was on the job. Had a truck full of glass panes. I won't buy anything from here, except my winter beaters. Rest of them are from the south

Mike when I was kid my parents a 1970 Buick centurion with a 454/4 barrel engine it was a rolling chesterfield I think all Buicks were like that and I’m sure they both have the same tail end look hey I grue up driving rear wheel drive cars my first car was a 1968 Plymouth fury 2 two door 318 two barrel great on gas I rebuilt it with my dad we did the body work together I did the engine and transmission swap while he was at work myself and he didn’t believe I did it I tossed him the keys and said try it I miss him dearly he’s been gone over 30 years you bring back great memories thanks mike and randy

when the vacuum Modulator fails or is failing it allows fluid to be drawn up into the engine.. This is where its going. Would be wise to replace it and also the oil.

Adding trans fluid after sitting all night is a nice anti theft feature! Keeps a thief from hotwiring it and driving off! Bought an auction car today No Mike, not a Mercedes! No fees, bid price is what you pay! 60 miles from, having it towed, I do not have the skill to get it going if it breaks....
Mike... Great video! UPDATE on the warranty at LKQ! My yard here (and I'm sure nationwide) does NOT have the 30 day free warranty any more! If you want a warranty of ANY kind, you must buy the 90 day warranty! This absolutely stinks! I found out last Friday. I chose not to get ANY warranty because I got some non-electrical parts last week! I thought about YOU because I told you earlier you could deny the 90 warranty because you would still have the free 30 day, but NO more. ANOTHER negative in the times we are in! No, in Randy's video, the coolant is green. If coolant and trans fluid mix, it looks like a strawberry milkshake. I think the vacuum modulator in the trans has a pin hole. That'll cause the trans fluid to be sucked into the engine and burned. Hence why the oil looks dirty even though they changed it

The inside of that engine is going to be off we clean with that trans fluid mixing with the oil and going through it either your engine burning the oil and slash transport or you're leaking it somewhere just having spotted it yet cuz the vacuum diaphragm is what's leaking there's a vacuum hose that runs to the side of your transmission the diaphragm there at the transmission is probably end up in the hole in it that's why you keep going low on trans

The transmission fluid is being suck up by a bad modulator valve on the transmission. Stay safe
Some gm transmissions have a vacuum modulator. Could a failed vacuum modulator allow ATF to be sucked into the intake manifold?

I think some of them had a trans vent to engine or another way to feed atf to engine or the cooler in radiator.
Sounds like an exhaust manifold is loose or possibly the gasket has gone bad but it's definitely leaking from that exhaust
Looks like it may have posi-trac rear end seeing the doughnuts.
Change the transmission modulator. The diaphragm in the modulator has a leak. The engine is burning the transmission fluid.
