- This is the second video in my series from my trip last year. I go from Granton to Wick via 5 harbours up the east coast of Scotland. I experience plenty of fog which made harbour entrances more exciting, see my first dolphins, and pay homage to Roger Taylor by visiting Whitehills, his base in Scotland from where he set off on trips to the Arctic. He inspired me with his philosophy of 'minimal sailing' in a small boat, thoughtfully prepared for any eventuality.
Sheffield sailors always have old climbing ropes kicking about! Nice vids.
Nice one
I'm loving it!
Very interesting to hear about the different port entries.
What a nice harbor master in white head .
Congratulations for your adventure. Greetings from Spain.
I'm aiming to circumnavigate this year too, good luck, please wear your lifejacket xx
What boat do you have?
Hiya, great to see this! I’m from Sheffield but now living in Falmouth with a Corribee Lady Elizabeth (oh and 4 daughters and my wife) :) just wondering what make your wind vane is and also where you had your spray hood made as I’m looking to get one but struggling to source it?
Thanks for posting the videos!
Hi, thanks. Wind vane is a Hebridean, windvaneselfsteering.co.uk/, there's also a FB page. Sprayhood made by Jeckles in Norfolk, www.jeckells.net/covers/, different company from Jeckles.co.uk the sailmakers
