WOW thank you Jesse 👊 what a beautiful heart shaped lake, and thanks for the Kick-Ass video adventure 😁 hell of a hike, always be proud 😎 I'm proud of you 👊
@@bobparsons77 It was an adventure for sure...and one that I wont forget anytime soon. Now i have my waypoint saved on ONx i can get back in a lot faster thats for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Have to admit that in all of my 73 years I've never heard the term "Chain of Lakes" used to describe any of the collection of lakes in the CMWA. A friend named Bob Hosea has also hiked these lakes and has them on film.
I thought after that last bushwhack you would have learned your lesson, but I guess not. However, I will agree that it's always best to trust your intuition. Congratulations on completing this five year goal. Another fabulous video Jesse!
@@BryanDeLay Thanks Bryan! Yeah...i probably would have made a good Marine...im a but bull headed and stuborn. Lol! Well the next goal is finishing off the rest of the lakes is the Cabinets Next Season 2025. I should be able to do it in 12 trips...then i can start working on a coffee table book or something. Get the Cabinets done then focus on the Vermilon and Purcells in 2026. Hike on my friend! As always thanks for the coment and for watching.
Great accomplishment. It sure looks like a very remote lake. Cool echo at 12:55. pretty crazy bear encounter. Blitz sure does great with that off trail bushwhacking schmuck. And he doesn’t go off chasing the grizzlies. I would hope Journey wouldn’t do that either, but she sure loves chasing squirrels so I worry. Lol.
@@waterfallmadman oh man Blitz loves the squirrels we almost have the deer thing figured out. I ADDED extra echo and cranked up the audio on that part. there is a great natural echeo there but regular audio didnt do it justice. Yeah that hit me hard...i have personal stuff going on to...so it kinda came to a head. Thanks for the kind.words Madman.
Yikes! Hiking in the Cabinets can be stressful! Congratulations on achieving your goals! Hope the burger tasted good. Appreciate you bushwhacking to places that I will never go (for good reason! lol.)
@@darrenkwalsh Yeah it was the most bizzare situation to date..well except what happened at Cabin Lake years ago. Yes my pain is your pleasure! LOL! Glad u enjoyed...burger was decent.

Congratulation! Well done! It looks like a very lonely lake. Do you carry an air horn? It has worked for me in similar situations with various critters. Great video! Thanks for sharing! Hike on!
@@pilowespo Thanks for that my friend. Well.intell ya...that situatiin makes a good case for an airhorn doesnt it. A lot of near misses with the bears or other animals this year...so its just a matter of time before i have a run in...if i keep going into these places. Thats why i try to be extra loud.
Great video! and what did I say when you called? Intuition comes out of the silence, ego monkey mind comes out of the noise. If it's truly your intuition speaking to you, you better pay attention. You did the right thing.
