Nice attention to detail on the cop outside the police station 1) It says he is writing a "bug report" which works on three levels because its a 4th wall breaking joke about games, a reference to the car being a Volkswagen Beetle and hinting that the world is a simulation 2) The car gets 1 ticket on its windshield for every day that passes, so he isn't just stood doing the same thing every day, he's literally writing new tickets because the car never moves
Tamto, you must have been confused on the perspective of the chess game. Pawns cant move or capture to the side or behind them. He had no way of killing your knight, nor moving out of check as he would move into your kings threat zone. You actually won.
They did, the whole game is meant to be a little parody, making fun of other horror-themed games and the media belief that videogames turn people into murderers and perverts. So they made their plot twist that their cheesy game was a serial-killer trainer made to indoctrinate people into killing. They played that stupid idea straight to show how ridiculous it was.
Poe Salesman Yeah, I know but I’ve seen streamers legitimately creeped out by that scene. I just laugh at it. Now the really scary this is the actor for Steve.
Never mind totally got evidence to back my statement up. mugshots.com/US-Counties/Texas/Dallas-County-TX/Kurt-Stephen-Kistler.8684252.html The body actor was booked for CP.
Sucks how Tomato completely stops paying attention once he gets into the Lodge, i get the game is really annoying near the end but he stops listening to new dialogue to the point it gets him killed twice, and doesn't read anything he can't pick up just so he can rush to the ending. He even started letting chat backseat without yelling at them.
turns out the dumb trope of "actually no there is no spooky shit it was all your mind ooooooooooooooo" for lazy writers trying to do a plot twist is older than we thought
Obviously there's times writers do do it because of laziness or they can't figure out what next. I do think it's important to note that just because it happens it doesn't mean it's automatically a bad story or that the writers are lazy. Again, I believe cases where psychological effects are the cause of a story is a scarier thing than actual monsters or such.
Except it's not lazy. It's a simulation designed to create serial killers by slowly exposing them to more and more violent shit to desensitise them. It's a critique of people saying video game violence causes real world violence.
You were always such a kidder, Tomato

I like how Tomato defaults to child murder rather than just giving him the paper he's asked for for days
28:44 best dialogue in the whole game, holy shit
local kidder goes to prison for reporting a murder
i just took my first bite of my food then baby's eyes popped out bruh
So this game technically has infinitely many endings?!
"There is no other game like this" Man, Phantasmagoria 2 has way more psychotic energy.
God that ending was perfectly cheesy
I thought....he pulled a screwdriver out of his boot....not a knife....
7:45 that poor dog! Stop slapping him! Lol

the PUZZLE GOD
I don’t think they meant for that baby scene to come if as ridiculous as it did.

The Kreeper Yeah, it’s him.The really eerie thing is his mugshot has him wearing a similar shirt to the one in this game.
@@trevingrayek1671 oh fuck you're right.
Well, you always were a kiddie diddler Steve.

and obviously used the walkthrough.. but still a great stream
So the game is satire on how video games cause violence?
Yes. I think it's pretty clever in how it does it.

The act of something being in your mind is one of the scariest things in reality. I don't think it's that bad a twist at all.
