Gewürztraminer: Traditional wine from South Tyrol

In South Tyrol, the region around Lake Kaltern are famous for its vineyards. Elena Walch, a trained architect, talked her husband into giving her one of the vineyards of the family winery. Ever since, she has become one of the most successful winemakers of the region. There, she cultivates a traditional grape: the Gewürztraminer.
