    Loved the simple 251 and the fact that I can add 36251 to go to the 1 where there is a long space. Thank you very much!

    I have a suggestion: as you did in this video, please always show new things and new lessons in the chord of C because, for us, intermediate and beginners players, its much easier to focus on learning and not on transposing. Later on, as we manage the concept, we can transpose it to the chord we like. Keep on the great job and God bless you!

    Video tutorial idea:could u do one on what to play during prayer or a melody to play

    • @mrkim8449
      @mrkim8449 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly do any melody you want, the Holy Spirit can help you if He desires to anoint you, do anything of worshiping Him in Spirit and Truth ❤
      During those times sometimes i play beautiful sounding chords and notes that fit in towards God as my heart saying "I'll express how beautiful you are with these chords, your more beautiful than these anyway." Continue being closer to God and read your bible every day. ❤

    RE: "Add Substitution" at about the 9 minute mark you subbed in a Bb chord resolving to a G (Gsus4, G) - I tried it on guitar and it still sounds cool, is there a name for this harmonic concept? Thanks, and great video!

    • @Rafaelmelo2000
      @Rafaelmelo2000 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Me too! Where did this "substitution" came out from?

    • @dylaneverhartmusic
      @dylaneverhartmusic 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That blew my mind too, my best guess is you can think of it like a passing chord because of the voice leading Bb > B > C (G contains a B). It could also be viewed as being borrowed from the parallel minor key, C minor which does contain the Bb major chord. And in minor it's fairly common to see bVII>V7/VII>Im

  • @mattanderson7089

    What's the theory behind that Bb to G move?

      not rlly and it depends what kind of guitar. like bass or lead or acoustic
