Bro where did you go? Haven’t seen a post from you in over a year. Miss your videos. Your format has always been one of my favorites. You ever coming back to whiskey tube??
I've been watching various spirits review channels for about six years. It's more common than you think that they'll just all of a sudden stop filming. I can think of at least a half dozen channels where that has happened. Once they get out of their regular schedule of putting out shows every week (or however often they were doing it) and are gone for months, I've never seen a channel come back and start up again. One thing that surprised me about how they end is they almost never say "goodbye" first or even give an explanation. Sometimes they'll briefly say in the comments section that they got busy with life and plan to start filming again soon - but they don't come back. Earlier this evening I went to check the last episode of a rum review channel - Rum Raiders - that I used to watch but that had stopped putting out new content. Like with here, people were asking if they were planning on putting out new shows and someone replied that they had seen it posted on their Instagram that one of the guys on that rum channel had passed away so they decided not to continue on.
You don’t want to watch him anyway. He tells woman on tiktok to just “cope” with their periods even if they have conditions like endometriosis and says it’s their fault for suffering from birth control side effects because they could simply “not take it”
Many people come on here thinking they’ll get rich putting out whiskey content via that bs site people give money through. I don’t want to name it because my comments have disappeared when I have. A few channels, beyond my comprehension, make truckloads of money. No one on here, besides a few like Fred Minnick, have any credentials to review whiskey. Somehow, a few clowns and blowhards make it. Anyway, Once they realize it’s not working out, they just quit. Sometimes, it could be for health or personal reasons as well. I have no clue what happened here, but it’s probably one of those reasons. Once the bourbon madness dies down, many more will close shop. I’m already seeing a definite cooling in the bourbon scene. I, for one, have decided not to buy much this year. I already have a ridiculous amount. Additionally, I don’t watch any clowns nor blowhards. BS was good. I wish him well.
@@C_H_1972, Regarding channels not having any credentials to review whiskey ... Don't want to name names but there are some channels that are super popular but, lately, I've begun to wonder about their *competency* as whiskey reviewers. In blinds, they are wrong more than they are right on their guesses as to what's in the glasses. And their nosing and tasting notes are all over the board. But, for whatever reason -- they're likeable or funny or folksy and unpretentious -- they have a lot of subscribers so people take to heart their opinions on whiskey.. But it no one seems to question their competency at reviewing whiskey!
@@Best_Overserved_--_No_Ice Whiskeytube is broken. The channels with real talent get very little views and the clowns get a ton of attention and a bunch of cash. It’s the wild west of reviews. Also, every newbie that starts a channel sets up a support page (I don’t want to mention the service by name). What a joke. Some are even upfront regarding their desire to make it into a business. I mean, some clowns on here are pulling serious cash. That’s where people start getting ideas. It’s a free country, but I don’t get it. I hope that some losers start dropping like flies and the real talent rises to the top. Cheers. BTW, I don’t even know how you replied to my original message. It appears to be gone?

Can we expect any new videos soon? Feels like it’s been a while!
