I want to say, i am in a huge depression slump. I stay up all night, sleep all day, dread my job, feel unhappy with every relationship in my life. The beginning piece really spoke to me, and I feel that within your longing to write something great, you already had it in you. Though I'm not a writer, I still love the act of journaling and making my thoughts physical helps me so so much. You definitely have a real gift for making these deeply relatable thoughts physical on paper, so don't give up on your journey ❤

hi (i'am from brazil so i'am sorry for the bad english) the beggining of this video was the perfect description for what i have been feeling lately, i am a writer too and recently all i can think of is that being a writer is the most beautiful curse i could possible have.
I watched this perhaps two days ago or maybe of the day it was released, I can't remember- but either way, this video was a blessing for that day. Something cozy and soothing for my more bitter days lately. I truly empathize with your inability to write. I struggle with that daily, and have for years. Especially on days where you recognize your limited space in your life, that one day it'll all end and you didn't get your final say. But please know that your words, if they're meant to be said aloud, will come when they're ready. I found myself better off when my writing was written when I felt ready and not when my emotions of wanting them to be ready. Seeing the rushed words and errors in my reasoning when forcing myself didn't feel right. I want to mean what I say when I want to say them. So just write things like, where you worry about this struggle, is enough sometimes. It'll come, this anxiety is ever persistent but we make do. Sometimes, even, it helps to write stupid nothings. Just write stuff you don't feel passionate about. Something that helped me find my voice was writing zines and working with others to make zines. I can tell from here you are so full of thoughts and emotions to share. Your ability to write hasn't fled you, it'll come back for you. Keep up the good work. :)❤
