I love watching the uploads. I lost my brother when I was 15 and he was 19. I'm now 42 and the way yall do questionable things brings back some good memories.
I would get blocks for the stabilizer bar so it doesnt stress out the drag links. Body sway!!! I just did that to my truck..rides and corners better. But it's up to guys..lol I've seen those tie rods get Flipped on Tacoma's but the hole has to be tapered for the tie rod end to be able to set in it. Or a new spindle with that modification on it...it will eat tie rods...cause u even said it. That angle is like ur first memory of Halloween night.....horrifying.....lol puts to much stress on the outer part of the ball then they get sloppy quick... But you guys are awesome for doing this!!!!!! I cant wait for the body lift either now!!!! These are even better videos....u guys should build front wheel peels on lift kits then sell them... GREAT VIDEO GENTLEMAN!!!!!!!!!!
So I just bought these shocks. With the 0-2 inch rear & 2-3 inch front lift. Did you actually need the aftermarket keys or do the original go up 2 inch?
When you get the lift kit you have, you’re supposed to get all 4 shocks. When you get the new torsion keys, they are different from stock and need new extended shocks to compensate for the torsion keys lift. Also a shock extension bracket for the front & a 2” spacer to go under the rear springs.
We got all 4 shocks in the new longer length so we didn't need to use brackets. As for the coil spacers, we couldn't find instructions that said whether they should be on top or bottom. Shape and size wise, they fit both places.
@@nicot2436That's good to know. Do you have any ideas (engineering wise) why it matters? I am just curious if we should take it apart and change it, or if it is just a preference thing.
Also, did you turn the key bolt to raise the front to be level with the back? If not, you’re suppose to. Hummer is coming along nice. You guys are tackling it as I did with mine. I wish I was there to help you guys make the Hummer badass. Here sweating my ass off in Florida, lol
Shouldve stayed with the stock wheel offsets ive got 37x1300R17 toyo mts on stock wheels stock height only rub the stabilizers slightly at full lock or extreme flex on a turn
To my knowledge that crossmember is only hummer h2 part of the boxed framing so it doesnt allow the chassis to twist and flex like a normal pickup does
The knuckle should be beveled. Dealt with that on a 2002 duramax when I was changing tie rods. Also, buy the black harbor freight impact extensions. Use them with breaker bars regularly on old farm equipment and haven’t broke one yet. So much better than chrome extensions
Hey Guys Big Fan Of You Y’all.! I have a hummer h2 06. Would like to life mines on a tide budget. Wondering if you guys can give me a hand with my hummer located in the Pennsylvania Harrisburg area…!
They are a tapered splendor but yes you can flip them get spindles off a 2500 Chevy everything is the same on 2500s 1500hd trucks and hummers it’s on a pu frame
I had a Nissan Titan that I put a 6 inch lift and actually had no choice but to flip the tie rod because it was hitting the inside of the rim but they weren’t beveled or anything just a straight bolt hole never had any problems in fact contacted the lift company which was rough country and they said it was something that they left out on the install details if that’s true or not I’ll never know but it worked out great for me I liked the lift super easy to install
All that work just because you bought the wrong offset rims. Now the you need mudflaps too cuz ur tires stick out too far. Madflaps make everything look uglier :( I've ran 37s on my last 3 H2s and never had to lift anything. proper offset and no rubs even articulated

This, this hit different.

GREAT VIDEO GENTLEMAN!!!!!!!!!!
"This socket identifies as an impact socket" so do all my sockets lol
This things looking pretty good, gotta go beat on it a little in the woods
Love the video, not many people make hummer h2 diy stuff
Can't wait to see you put that body lift on it
Awesome Spencer! Looks amazing, Cheers from the North!🙂
I recognize that rust....Pennsylvania snow melt, green slime. lol Salt spray.
The H2 is starting to shape up! I'm excited to see what's next for it! Looks tall and mean with the lift. Awesome work guys!
Why is youtube unsubing me from some channels , I swear to god i was subed to this channel , wtf youtube ,,, anyway ,,,, love the hummer 💕
It looks so much better with just the step bars off of it , ot totally changed the whole look of the hummer, great video guys !!!
I can't believe GM sold it with such stupid steps.
So, how did you get the torsion bar out? I am getting ready to replace my control arms (upper & lower).
Caught me at the right time ! Time to spark up this Blunt and enjoy the video
Excited for this build being a new hummer h2 owner. Don’t have much play money so I’m eager to se what you guys do on a budget!
Why’s Lance spend his money Spenc? 😂🤣😬. J/K. Your a smart man!! Awesome content as always!! Thanks for sharing.
Cool 👍😎 happy mothers day to your mom
I’m excited for y’all build! And I’m wondering the same thing about the tie rod arms. 🤟🏼
What offsets on the wheels? I have 37” tires on mine and the same lift and your tires sit far wider must be a decent offset
The hummer looks awesome guy's
"This socket identifies as an impact socket" lol best thing I've heard in a while.
20:39 dude straight up spaying over rust lol
I'm loving this build so far, I can't wait to see what is next.
I usually don't like Hummer H2s, but I think this thing's going to look pretty good when it's finished with the lift, the bumpers & everything.
Ok great video, so how many inch lift kit did you guys use? So I know what's not gonna be sufficient:)
I've never seen so many rust in a truck I live in Vegas and no car has rust
hello where can i find that kit to lift a hummer h2 like that
Wish there were details on the parts and where you got em.
HUMMER AASIF LIKED THIS VIDEO💪💪💪❤❤❤
I can feel the death wobble already
Not SFA so no DW
How much did u raise it up ?
So I just bought these shocks. With the 0-2 inch rear & 2-3 inch front lift. Did you actually need the aftermarket keys or do the original go up 2 inch?
I'm not sure of the exact measurements but we needed all the lift we could get with the current wheel set up
I have a 3" body lift and a 3" torsion key and coils spacer on my 05 h2 with 38x12 toyo mt love it
Hi no rub?

The spacers go on the bottom!

@@nicot2436 We didn't want to go too aggressive on the front. I like the slightly raked look vs. level.
Do you still have whistling diesel Duramax Chevy still
Shouldve stayed with the stock wheel offsets ive got 37x1300R17 toyo mts on stock wheels stock height only rub the stabilizers slightly at full lock or extreme flex on a turn
did you dip the hummer in salt water?
Wow looks like an amazing home. Where are yall from?
Nice vid bro..quick question: did you install larger rear shocks or kept stock length with the coil spacers??
What height size is that H2?
Need a TSP chopmonster cam
'Tie rods need a few turns', 'oh I can see it' 😂😂
Lovin this build . Something about those h2s man I always thought they were cool even though they are rot boxes
What do you mean rot boxes?

Nope, no spacers.
Love your videos so much!

I farted and lance responded 6:02 😂
Did i see this near a home depo in burton Michigan? If not it looks super similar.
You should get a 4th Gen 4runner and do a restoration on one lol, like high milage to prove how good they are
Where are you guys located? I’m looking to buy a hummer and I am not so much of a car guy. I’m in NC. I’ll be needing some help.
You should get an h3 and make some pretty good content!
I have the same color 03 H2 I’m doing the Duramax swap on
If you can get a tshirt with this socket identifies as a impact socket I’m 100% a buyer! 🤣
we have 40in wheels on our hummer h2 it scrapes pretty bad but we got it fixed now
I'd love to move up to 40's at some point
if you haven’t gotten an answer yet, the hole for the tie rod is cone shaped so the tie rod only goes one way
Hit up regal metal works for that rear bumper
Y’all should put an LBZ in it
Just wait until its 20 years old and get historic tags. No inspection nonsense
How much was everything
Get them dry ball joints some grease!
Hummer h2 is the best
Really does look better without the boards
Hummer identifies as “ brand New” now. 🤣😎😬
Y'all wanna sell that passenger end cap from the front bumper? Lol
Dont understand why so many people use a 3/8 for bigger jobs i only use 1/2 inch unless im installing a stereo or something super minor lol
That belt is the AC belt probably has a seized belt tensioner.
Exhaust system next?
Get a build your own bumper kit front and back
First 😅
👍
Straight pipe it in the next video
Squat the hummer for literally no reason at all just to piss people off
No
It would be the first squatted hummer
Just No.
yall got like a five car garage and choose to work in the rain
Must not have been ordered from RockAuto, because they refuse to ship to Colorado.
You can't flip the tie rod!
You should of left the rear stock and just lifted the front 🤭
I can’t stand when people do that crap!
Chrome running boards need to go
Commented before I watched lol looks great man
😅❤
Why does the video looks chopy like it's lagging? Is that just me? It's good content but it's annoying to have lagg lol

What are your rim and tire dimensions, to avoid rubbing without lifting?
@@markclennell8969 about 4.5" backspacing with 37x12.5 tires
@@seanpenny4580 what’s your rim size and offset?
@@markclennell8969 17x10 rims i think they are. 4.5" backspacing. Been 4 years since i changed them. Barely can remember lol

WHY ARE YOU PAINTING ON TOP OF A DIRTY AREA...
