That annoying buzzer is mostly bad sensor somewhere around the engine. It would batter to get it scanned and change the faulty reading sensor or it could be wire shortage too . ðĪ I had the same problem before but it was oil pressure sensor on the left side of the engine it's kind of deep but you can reach it with big socket and flix extension.
I have a problem with a 2010 prostar, the pressure gauges or dashboard clocks do not work, but the clocks do not work, does anyone have knowledge of this or a diagram or how the system works?
@@wisdumb3092 you dpf filter has too much soot in it and it requires a forced regen. Sometimes you can do it yourself by some procedures you can follow but sometimes it requires a computer to be hooked up so they can start the forced regen to burn away the soot.
@@urfanmalik3456 I brought the truck not knowing they performed a delete and I had a couple different shops hook up the computer and tell me it need this and that replace so we did those and still same issue. When they hooked up the computer it wouldn't have told them to do a level 4 regen???
@@urfanmalik3456 oh okay I understand how come you just don't have it done properly and do away with all of it scr EGR Def mechanically and in the "parameters" and through the software
If you mean why I donât take out the buzzer completely? Itâs like I explain, if you get a dot inspection, the officer needs to hear the buzzer when you fan down your breaksâĶ so the option of taking it out completely is risky. But if you feel you can remove it, then just cut the red wire and you are done.
@@aaronpeddicord2944 my after treatment system has been deleted. Itâs just that old deletes and tunes are causing some problems now, may because not done properly. And a part of the problem is that this stop engine buzzer goes haywire.
YOU are awesome !!! You just saved our sanity !!!

For how long you been driving it like that?

Hello this question is for anyone dealing with this problem. When the stop engine light comes on are you losing power as well?
I donât lose power at all, itâs just the annoying buzzer problem. If you are losing power then your truck is asking for a level 4 regen
@@urfanmalik3456 what is that exactly and I truly appreciate the help

@@urfanmalik3456 also what if this problem is more consistent when I hook up to a trailer vs when I'm Bob tailing
Whats the question switch man explain?
How did you make the connection? What all did you use? Iâm trying to do the same thing
Just cut the red wire and soldered my own wire on both ends and put a switchâĶ very easy fix.
On the back of the DEF tank there is a box it has fuses in it there is a fuse that goes that buzzer take it out it takes about 10 seconds
