It's a good hygiene practice.. we dnt keep long nails.. we can't do wudu for Salah.. it's un clean.. so we cut it short to eat pray ... logically also u should avoid if u dnt use tissue paper 📃 in wash room.. you should also not keep long.. nails.. lol.
