Hi Marc, Love Noah Ukulele's, I own 5 !! also the Tenor X 001, Ive done a few mods on all my Noah's, ie Changed the tuners for Grover's and fitted a Ziegenspeck pic up to one of them, My Tenor X will be the next one I fit a Ziegenspeck pic up to, but over all they are super instruments. Interesting! I'm satisfied with the tuners so far, I just find slotted headstocks a ballache to restring. Not too keen on transducer pickups, but glad you like yours! Merry Christmas :)
I'll be interested to learn how you get on as I bought the same model at Cheltenham this year. Definitely change the strings. I feel it comes alive when plugged in as the internals affect the body resonance when unplugged. Others may have different experience.
As someone with about 8 ukuleles with pickups, I don't think their existence has too much bearing on acoustic resonance. As for a look at the pickup, watch this space ;)
