When I look 4 of the biggest card games you’ve made videos for, those being Dragonball Super, Pokémon, One Piece and Digimon I will say of all of them the Digimon card art is the best.

It should absolutely not be watched before Kai, because over half of the 927 episodes total runtime is entirely time-wasting, pace-ruining filler meant to delay the show from catching up to the manga. The best way to watch would be either Kai, which has no filler, a FANTASTIC English dub, but a lacking soundtrack, or a fan recut of the original Japanese run of DBZ that removes all filler and keeps the original soundtrack intact. The latter option is only watchable in Japanese though, and is called the “DBZ Jarcut” The original English DBZ run is objectively the worst way to watch it. Music not intended by the people that made it, a dreadful English dub, and over 450 episodes runtime worth of filler scattershot through the series.

Yes you can use the cards to play the game - and it is very fun in my opinion! 🥰 There is an app you can learn & play the digital version for free - I think it is only available on windows and google ios so far though so I haven't checked it out!
